The Bold and the Beautiful
B&B’s Sheila Carter Has Shot People, Poisoned People, Faked Her Own Death, and Somehow She Is the ONLY One We Feel Sorry for Right Now
Sheila Carter has shot people, poisoned people, and faked her death twice but she chose pizza over revenge and the fans are on her side for once.

SHEILA CARTER CHOSE PIZZA OVER REVENGE AND WE RESPECT IT
TL;DR: Sheila Carter has a rap sheet longer than a Forrester runway and a body count that would make a true crime podcast blush, but when she picked up that pizza cutter in Taylor’s office and chose to destroy a pepperoni instead of a psychiatrist, something shifted on The Bold and the Beautiful because for the first time in thirty five years of chaos, the fans are on Sheila’s side and honestly? She earned it.
Let Us Talk About That Line
Sheila Carter looked at Deacon with tears running down her face and said five words that should be studied in every creative writing class on the planet. “I loved you when you were nothing.”
That is not a threat. That is not manipulation. That is a woman standing in the wreckage of her marriage telling the absolute truth. Sheila Carter loved Deacon when he was a disgraced ex con running a restaurant that nobody took seriously. She loved him when the Forresters would not let him near his own daughter. She loved him when the entire world looked at him and saw a man who was not worth saving. She loved him anyway.
And now that he has status? Now that Il Giardino is a success and people actually respect him? He is in love with Taylor Hayes, the world renowned psychiatrist who was supposed to be saving Sheila’s marriage, not stealing her husband.
Sheila reminded Deacon they vowed to be together until death. He asked if that was a threat. She told him it was not. She told him she loves him. And then she begged him not to abandon her like everyone else has on The Bold and the Beautiful.

This Woman’s Resume of Violence Is Legendary
Let us be very clear about who we are feeling sorry for right now. This is a woman who drugged Scott Grainger so she could sleep with him, then stole Lauren Fenmore’s newborn and replaced it with a black market infant. She held Lauren and her own mother hostage in a farmhouse and nearly burned them alive. She moved to Los Angeles, married Eric Forrester while hiding a criminal history that would make a federal agent weep, and pushed a psychiatrist off a balcony.
She tried to drown Lauren in a hot tub. She held the entire Forrester family at gunpoint and chugged poison. She killed a man with African killer bees. She shot Stephanie Forrester down a staircase. She kidnapped Ridge on his honeymoon. She cut off her own toe to fake being eaten by a bear. She shot Finn and Steffy in an alley and left them for dead.
And this woman picked up a pizza cutter, looked at the woman who stole her husband, and chose to slash the pizza.
Taylor Is Not the Victim Here and We All Know It
Here is the part that makes the fans furious. Taylor was Sheila’s therapist. Sheila trusted her. She credited Taylor with saving her marriage. She told people for months how wonderful Taylor was. She idolized her. And the entire time, Taylor was falling in love with her patient’s husband.
Taylor admitted to Sheila that Deacon started as her patient. She admitted she crossed ethical lines as a doctor and as a friend. She told Sheila to her face that she and Deacon are in love and that they tried to fight it but could not.
Sheila’s response? She did not pull a gun. She did not reach for poison. She did not kidnap anyone or set anything on fire. She told Taylor the old version of herself would have snuffed her out. And then she walked away. The woman who has literally shot Taylor Hayes before walked away.
If that is not growth then the word has no meaning.
The Fans Are Right to Feel This Way
Sheila told Deacon she has always seen him. She told him he was a miracle in her life. She asked how he could be an incredible husband and then just walk away. She said she could understand how Taylor fell for him, but he belongs to her.
And Deacon told her the distance has been building for a long time. Which is a fascinating thing to say to the woman who stood by him through Luna’s murders, through every moment when nobody else would have stayed on The Bold and the Beautiful.
Sheila Carter is not a good person. Nobody is arguing that. But for the first time in thirty five years, she is the honest one in the room. She is the one who kept her vows. She is the one who loved someone when they were nothing and got thrown away the moment something shinier walked in. The fans are on her side because this time, impossibly, unbelievably, she is right.
And that should terrify everyone in Los Angeles. Because a Sheila who is wrong is dangerous. But a Sheila who is right and heartbroken? That is something The Bold and the Beautiful has never seen before.
Do you think Sheila deserves better than what Deacon is doing to her or has she earned every heartbreak she gets? Sound off below because this debate is tearing the fandom apart!
