RIDGE FORRESTER TOLD TAYLOR HAYES SHE HAD TO END THINGS WITH DEACON SHARPE AND SHE AGREED BUT THEY ARE BOTH STILL IN LOVE ON THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL

TL;DR: Taylor Hayes told Ridge Forrester she would stop seeing Deacon Sharpe on The Bold and the Beautiful. She agreed it had to be over. But once she was alone, she whispered “I love you, Deacon.” And across town, Deacon whispered “I love you, Taylor.” This is not over. This is a ticking time bomb.

Ridge Forrester Got What He Wanted

Ridge Forrester barged into Taylor Hayes’s office on The Bold and the Beautiful, found out she had been making out with Deacon Sharpe, and lost his mind.

He reminded her how dangerous Sheila Carter is. He told her that Deacon is not the right man for her because he comes with Sheila — and Sheila comes with mayhem. He invoked Steffy’s ultimatum. He asked Taylor point blank if she was scared.

And Taylor broke.

She wiped away her tears and let Ridge hold her hands. She agreed that she cannot see Deacon anymore. She found love, and it has to be over.

Ridge won. Taylor gave in. The relationship is officially done.

Except it is not. Not even close.

They Both Whispered I Love You Alone

Here is the part that should have everyone screaming.

After Taylor agreed to end things, she sat alone in her office, crying. And she whispered, “I love you, Deacon.”

Across town, Deacon was in his apartment after lying to Sheila about why he was not in the mood for romance. Once he was alone, he whispered, “I love you, Taylor.”

They are not over. They are not even close to over. They are two people who have been forced apart by circumstances, but the love is still there. The longing is still there. And that kind of love does not just disappear because Ridge Forrester said so.

Deacon Sharpe Already Lied to Sheila

Sheila wanted a romantic night with “her daddy.” She lit candles. She was ready to celebrate their marriage.

And Deacon told her he was not up for it. He lied and said he was coming down with something.

Sheila gave him a pass… for now. But Sheila Carter is not stupid. She is already asking questions about his sessions with Taylor. She is already suspicious about how much time he spends with his “therapist.”

How long before she puts the pieces together? How long before she realizes that her husband is in love with another woman — and has been for weeks?

Sheila Carter Just Threatened to Kill Someone

Here is what makes this situation even more terrifying. Earlier in the episode, Sheila cornered Deke at Il Giardino and warned him not to try and come between her and Deacon.

“Or I’ll kill you,” she said.

Then she laughed and said she was kidding. But Deke was not amused. And neither are we.

Sheila “joked” that it would bother her if someone tried to come between her and Deacon and make her look crazy. She said they do not have to think about that.

But someone IS coming between them. Taylor Hayes already has. And when Sheila finds out that her husband has been falling in love with another woman — the mother of Ridge Forrester’s children, no less — she is not going to laugh it off.

This Ending Is Actually a Beginning

Taylor agreed to walk away. Deacon is lying to his wife. Ridge thinks he fixed the problem.

But forbidden love does not die just because someone demands it. Taylor and Deacon are still in love. They are still thinking about each other. They are still whispering each other’s names when they are alone.

And Sheila Carter is sitting in that apartment with candles lit, completely unaware that her entire marriage is a lie.

This is not an ending. This is the calm before the storm. And when that storm hits, people are going to get hurt.
