Will Eric Convince Ridge That Brooke Is His Destiny?

Eric Forrester is pulling out ALL the stops to remind Ridge where his heart truly belongs — with Brooke Logan. The Forrester patriarch isn’t mincing words either. He’s giving Ridge the speech of a lifetime about destiny, true love, and following his heart. And let’s be real — when Eric starts talking about destiny, you KNOW he means business!

Eric is basically telling Ridge to stop letting Thomas and even Steffy Forrester guilt him into a marriage he’s clearly not ready for. The man’s got a point — since when should grown adults let their kids dictate their love lives? But this IS the Forrester family we’re talking about, where emotional manipulation is practically a family tradition!

Could this mean Taylor finally realizes she’s fighting a losing battle? After everything she’s been through — being presumed dead TWICE, held captive in Morocco, shot by Sheila — the woman deserves someone who chooses her FIRST, not as a consolation prize!

Don’t be surprised if Thomas escalates his tactics when daddy doesn’t immediately cave to the pressure. Given his history of scheming and plotting, this likely leads to Thomas cooking up some new plan to eliminate what he sees as the real problem: Brooke Logan. Here’s the thing that has me SCREAMING at my TV already — Ridge is going to do what Ridge always does: absolutely NOTHING! The spoilers already tell us he’ll be “conflicted and haunted” by Eric’s words on Friday, which means Thursday’s confrontation doesn’t end with any actual decision. Shocking, right? (That’s sarcasm, people!)

Taylor deserves so much better than this eternal triangle of doom. She’s been patient, understanding, and supportive while Ridge has married Brooke EIGHT TIMES! Meanwhile, poor Thomas is using his parents’ relationship as some kind of emotional band-aid for his own issues — which, let’s face it, is deeply unhealthy and probably requires actual therapy, not a parental reunion!

The real tragedy here? We ALL know how this ends. Ridge will stall, Taylor will get her heart broken (again), and eventually, he’ll end up back with Brooke by Christmas. It’s the Circle of Soap Life, and we’re all just along for the emotionally exhausting ride!
