What Was The Point Of Thomas Coming Back?
Someone needs to help me understand what just happened here. Thomas Forrester was gone for over a year. THIRTEEN MONTHS. Fans begged for his return. They theorized about Hope confrontations. They wondered about Douglas scenes. They speculated about new romances with Daphne Rose or Ivy Forrester.
And what did we actually get?
Thomas showed up on September 2nd. He announced his breakup with Paris Buckingham happened off-screen. He spent every single scene arguing about whether Ridge Forrester should stay with Taylor Hayes or go back to Brooke Logan. Then he grabbed Brooke by the shoulders, got a reconciliation hug, and disappeared back to Paris by September 16th.
That’s it. That’s the whole return.

The Paris Breakup Deserved Better
Here’s the thing that really gets me. Thomas and Paris were engaged. They had an actual relationship. And The Bold and the Beautiful decided to handle their entire breakup OFF-SCREEN.
Diamond White found out about it the same way we did. Through the episode airing. Her Instagram response? “Well thanks for letting me know” with a laughing emoji. If that doesn’t tell you everything about how B&B handles storylines, I don’t know what does.
No confrontation scenes. No emotional fallout. No closure for either character. Just Thomas mentioning it happened and moving on to more triangle nonsense.
Zero Hope Scenes Is Inexcusable
Let’s talk about the elephant in the room. Hope Logan took over Forrester Creations. She locked Ridge and Eric Forrester out of their own company. She started dating Carter Walton. Her entire life changed dramatically.
