ADAM NEWMAN WALKED INTO RIZA’S WORLD AND SHE HAD A GUN WAITING

TL;DR: Adam Newman will come face to face with Riza on The Young and the Restless spoilers for the week of March 23, and she will greet him with a gun to his head and absolutely zero interest in catching up. Meanwhile, Nick Newman is spiraling back into his pain medication, Christine Blair has a plan for Mariah Copeland, Nikki Newman will take a dangerous risk for Jack Abbott, and Victor Newman will reveal a secret weapon that changes the entire war with Cane Ashby.

This Week in Genoa City

Adam Newman made a promise to his family that revisiting his past as Spyder would not consume him. He was wrong. Adam Newman will walk into a meeting with Riza this week and discover that the woman he used to run with has traded whatever loyalty they once shared for a loaded weapon pointed at his skull. She will tell him to put his hands behind his head and she will not be asking twice. The brothers flew to Vegas on a mission to track down Matt Clark, and Adam was supposed to be the one with the connections to make it happen. Instead, he is about to find out that the appropriate connection Nick Newman mentioned to Noah Newman comes with a price nobody budgeted for. And speaking of Nick, Sharon Newman was right to worry about his leg. By Tuesday he will not be able to escape the pain and will turn back to the pills he fought so hard to quit, which means Adam Newman will see an entirely new side of his brother by Friday and it will not be the side anyone wanted.

Back in Genoa City, Christine Blair will call a private meeting with Sharon to strategize about Mariah Copeland, and whatever Christine has in mind, she specifically does not want anyone else in the room for it. Daniel Romalotti will make a sacrifice to help Mariah, which is remarkable given how fractured things have been between Phyllis Summersand her children. Chelsea Lawson will question Billy Abbott about his intentions, and given everything Phyllis pulled with Chancellor, Chelsea has every right to wonder what Billy is plotting next. Nikki Newman will confess something to Cane Ashby and take a massive risk for Jack Abbott, which tells you that even after everything Victor Newman put her through, she has not stopped protecting the man her husband despises most. Victor will reveal a secret weapon on Thursday. Kyle Abbott will vow to protect Diane Jenkins at all costs. And by Friday, Victor will change his entire approach to Cane, which means the chessboard just flipped and Cane had better be paying attention.

Monday, March 23

Chelsea will sit Billy down and question exactly what he is after, because that man has been operating with one foot in the shadows since Phyllis signed Chancellor back over to Victor and left him with nothing but a promise and a grudge. Christine will meet with Sharon privately to talk about Mariah, and the fact that she wanted this conversation behind closed doors tells you the strategy is delicate. And Daniel will step up and make a sacrifice for Mariah that may cost him something real, proving that the Summers children are capable of showing up for the people they love even when their own mother makes that almost impossible to believe.

Tuesday, March 24

Adam Newman’s meeting with Riza will go sideways the second he walks through the door. She will have a gun on him before he can finish a sentence and she will not be interested in reminiscing about the old days. Whatever happened between the time Adam left Vegas and the time he came back, Riza picked a different side. Mariah will take steps to repair what has broken between her and Tessa Porter, and after weeks of being withdrawn and terrified of how the world sees her, this is the first sign that she is ready to reach for the people who love her. And Nick will lose his battle with the pain. He will take more pills, and the spiral that Sharon feared and Chelsea warned about will officially begin.

Wednesday, March 25

Nikki will make a confession to Cane, and given what she knows about Victor’s kidnapping of Jack, about the yacht, about Patty Williams, and about her own fury at her husband, this could be the confession that rearranges Cane’s entire understanding of what he has been caught in the middle of. Noah and Audra Charles will take a walk down memory lane, revisiting a past that ended in heartbreak and a pregnancy that did not survive, and whatever they are feeling, it is clearly not finished between them. And Holden Novak will move to protect his interests, which in Genoa City usually means someone else is about to lose theirs.

Thursday, March 26

Victor Newman will unveil a secret weapon, and the man who lost Newman Enterprises, kidnapped Jack Abbott, threw his wife out of her own house, and traded Chancellor like a poker chip is clearly not done playing. Kyle will vow to protect Diane at all costs, and the urgency behind that vow suggests that whatever Victor is doing this week has put Diane directly in the crossfire. And Nikki will take a big risk for Jack, which means she is choosing the man her husband cannot stand over the husband who told her to “begone” from her own living room. That choice will have consequences.

Friday, March 27

Victor will pivot his entire plot against Cane, and the fact that he is changing course instead of doubling down means something shifted and Cane should be very worried about what comes next. Billy will resist reconciling with Jill, and whatever she is asking of him, he is not ready to give it. Adam Newman will witness a new side of Nick that will shake him, and if Nick has been quietly falling apart all week on pain medication, Adam is about to see his brother in a way that changes the dynamic between them entirely.

Nick Newman has been quietly spiraling back into his pain medication all week and Adam is about to find out. Do you think Adam can pull his brother back from the edge or is Nick too far gone? Sound off below!
