BFFs Audra & Sally Hired for Nothing on Y&R
There has to be something in the water in Genoa City. How is it that GC’s newest, hottest, & smartest BFFs just took jobs for nothing? Audra Charles believes Victor Newman is really going to give her a new cosmetics company to run autonomously, & Sally Spectra has accepted Billy’s job offer at Abbott Communications, which has not been defined. Why aren’t these women calling one another out on Young & the Restless?
Audra’s Sexual Skillset in Exchange for Cosmetics
Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) has either lost her mind, has had something put in her drinking water, or is flat out desperate. All signs are pointing towards desperation, but why? Audra is smart & can outsmart almost anyone, except Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), but she still has not learned her lesson. She’s made a third deal with the devil & thinks going to be the charm.
Why hasn’t her new BFF, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), tried to find her something at Marchetti? At least Sally attempted to tell Audra that making a deal with Victor is nearly pointless, but she could have done more. How is Audra’s sexual skillset worth an entire cosmetics company to Victor Newman? It’s not. Whether Audra breaks up Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) & Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) or not, Audra Charles will still lose & she will be unemployed again before this job even starts.
Sally Spectra’s New Job Without a Description
Audra Charles took a job without funding, & Sally Spectra has taken a job without a description. What are these women doing & why aren’t they helping one another? Audra thinks she has funding & Sally thinks she fell into an incredible opportunity to move forward in her career, but these women really have nothing & they have no idea. Abbott Communications doesn’t have office space, & neither does Audra’s new cosmetic company. What will these women be doing besides planning launch parties, which will most likely be entertaining but will be useless in the long run?
Who’s Make Believe Job with Run Out First on Y&R?
Monetarily speaking, Sally Spectra should win here as her boyfriend & now boss, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), has Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) money invested to back up Abbott Communications. However, Billy promised everyone he is not going after Victor Newman or Newman Media, but all Young & the Restless fans know that is a lie. Now that his ex-girlfriend, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan), who cheated on him with the Newman Media CEO & his biggest rival, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), Billy Boy will waste zero time doubling down.
Unfortunately, Audra will be done at her new cosmetics company before she even starts. The Mustache hasn’t released any of the funding & will not until he sees some of her results, such as tears down Claire’s face, sponsored by Kyle Abbott. Even if Audra produces the results with Claire & Kyle that Victor is looking for, she won’t be needed anymore & will be dropped like a hot potato for the third time underneath the Newman umbrella.
Regardless of how & when things shake out, these job opportunities are not helping either woman’s resume. Who will hire these ladies next on Young & the Restless?
