On August 21 she offered Jack repayment of the old loan, which would gut Billy’s claim in one stroke, and Jack confirmed he had found a large transaction from that era with no record it was ever paid back. Five days later Lily dared Billy to prove he deserves Chancellor, promising to hand it over without a fight if he could convince her he is fit to run it. Billy Abbott has been circling that dare ever since, and now his brother wants to buy him out of the chase entirely.
Does Billy Take Jack’s Offer and Walk Away From Chancellor?
Nobody knows yet. The promo cuts away before Billy answers, and no aired episode had shown his response as of September 4, 2026. Billy accepting, naming the company, pulling Sally in, or finally beating Victor Newman: none of that is on the record. The rest of the week makes a clean yes look complicated.
