Cane Ashby Says Goodbye to Lily Winters and Means It
Cane Ashby has begged. He has paced. He has screamed into empty rooms. He has recorded love videos for a woman he thought was missing. He has not slept. He has called Victor Newman, cornered Victoria Newman, bargained with Phyllis Summers, and humiliated himself in front of anyone who would listen. He did all of it because he was terrified his ex-wife and children were in danger.
They were not. Lily Winters was in on it. She knew the whole time. She watched Cane Ashby unravel and chose not to stop it.
Now they are standing face to face and Lily thinks he should be happy to see she is okay. She tells him she is sorry he was so worried. Cane tells her losing his empire was one thing. But the rest was cruelty. She shattered him emotionally and there is nothing left to repair. “I never want to see you again,” he says, and walks out, leaving her standing there alone.
That is not a man throwing a tantrum. That is a man who has finally run out of love to give. And Lily Winters is going to have to live with the fact that the man who said he would never stop fighting for her just stopped.

Victor Newman Double Crosses Lily Winters Because of Course He Does
Lily walks into the ranch expecting Chancellor. Victor tells her there has been a change of plans. He needs Chancellor to get Newman back from Phyllis first. Then she can have it. Eventually. Maybe.
Lily cannot believe she is being crossed again by the same man who crossed her last time. She did his dirty work. She let Cane suffer. She played her part perfectly. And Victor Newman is sitting there telling her to wait with the same smirk he was wearing yesterday. This man collects loyalty like currency and pays people back in IOUs he never intends to honor. Lily has no choice but to trust him, which is the saddest sentence anyone in Genoa City has ever said.
Nick Newman Is Buying Drugs From a Dealer
Nick Newman is no longer just popping pills. Adam Newman finds him having nightmares on the couch. Adam leaves to meet Riza at the casino. The second he is gone, Nick calls a guy named Joe, hands him cash, and buys what he calls “good time supplies.”
This is not a man managing pain anymore. This is a man spiraling in a Vegas hotel room while his brother is next door playing undercover poker thinking everything is fine. Sharon Newman said she would hate to see Nick back on medication. She has no idea it has gone way past medication.
Nikki Newman Offers to Help Jack Abbott Destroy Victor
Nikki Newman sits with Jack Abbott at the Abbott estate and tells him her husband told her to go to Hell. She is done defending him. She will help Jack teach Victor a lesson and she will not hold back.
Jack reminds her she has said this before. Nikki insists this time is different. She means it. Whether she actually follows through or whether forty years of marriage pulls her back to the ranch by Tuesday is a question only Nikki Newman can answer, but right now she is angry enough to burn it all down. Jack is not going to talk her out of it. He is going to hand her the matches.
Billy Abbott Asks Sally Spectra to Go to London
Billy Abbott tells Sally Spectra he has been reflecting and he was blind to the cost of his own ambitions. He needs to go see his mother and heal their relationship. He asks Sally to come with him. She says yes. She can run the company from London for a couple of weeks. Billy calls her his guiding light, which is either the sweetest thing he has ever said or something a man says when he is about to relapse into his worst habits. Time will tell.
Is Cane Ashby really done with Lily Winters forever or will he come crawling back? And how long before someone finds out what Nick Newman is doing in that hotel room? Sound off below!
WATCH NOW: I can’t wait to see all the trouble Patty causes!
@soapoperamag Welcome Back to Genoa City, Patty! So excited to see Patty-Cakes back in her old stomping ground. Who will she mess with first? Diane? Jack? An enemy from the past? Oh, this is going to be delicious! (The only thing that would make this better is if they brought back Paul, too).
