Ashley Abbott Comes Home

Amid a hospital room already overflowing with cops, cuffs, and a smirking Patty WilliamsAshley Abbott walks back into Genoa City at exactly the moment her family needs her most. She runs straight into Jack’s room, and the relief on everyone’s face is instant. No fanfare, no warning, just Ashley showing up right as the dust settles on the worst week of her brother’s life. This family has never needed an extra Abbott more.

Jack Abbott and Diane Jenkins Finally Get Their Moment

Kyle Abbott carries Diane Jenkins into the hospital screaming for help, handing a nurse the syringe Patty used on her. Traci Abbott joins them as Diane’s wheeled off, and Kyle heads in to see his dad, admitting they genuinely thought they’d lose him.

Jack Abbott demands cops and Michael Baldwin get in there so he can clear Diane’s name once and for all. Kyle explains Patty nearly finished the job before getting caught, and now she’s in custody, smirking, refusing to say what she injected Diane with, and biting a guard on her way out. Jack’s fury doesn’t get him answers, just Patty’s parting vow that they’ll “meet again.” Ashley arrives right into the middle of this chaos, exactly on cue.

The real relief comes from the doctor: Diane was injected with digitalis, but they caught it in time, and she’s going to be fine. Once the family clears the room, Jack and Diane finally get a moment alone. He asks if they’re okay. She admits he hurt her more than she thought possible, but she never stopped loving him and can’t imagine life without him. Her heart needs mending, not replacing. He promises to fix it if it takes a lifetime. They kiss.

Are Jack and Diane actually in the clear, or is this the calm before the next storm? Send your theories to [email protected], we’re taking bets.

Victor Newman Shakes Up Newman Enterprises

At the GCAC, Victor Newman tells Adam Newman that Chelsea and the kids want to bring lemon bars to Nikki Newman, but Nikki needs time to recover first. Nick Newman wonders aloud if his parents are about to be forced back together now that they’re both under one roof again, but Victor pivots straight to business: Phyllis sold off several lucrative divisions before her exit, and he’s already rehired most of the people she fired.

Nick pitches PR ideas, ready to jump back in, but Victor drops the real bombshell instead: Victoria Newman is taking over the company alone. Nick can have his old position back once he’s fully recovered, but not before. Victoria joins the conversation and confirms she agrees with her father’s decision without hesitation.

Adam wants to know where that leaves him. He and Chelsea have been eyeing a rebrand of Arabesque into a new Newman Media, but Victor already gave that company to Phyllis. As a consolation, Victor wants Spectra-Charles instead, over Adam’s objections, since he refuses to go after Sally Spectra directly. Victor isn’t backing down.

Billy Abbott and Sally Spectra Talk It Through

At home, Sally Spectra checks in with Billy Abbott right after Jill leaves, and he admits the fight with his mom went further than usual. Watching his brother nearly die puts their own rift into sharp perspective. Sally reassures him that she and the baby will be fine if he goes to London to work things out with Jill, and he calls his mom to say he’ll come visit.

Ashley’s back, Jack and Diane are healing, Billy’s making peace: who’s got the messiest arc left standing? Drop your pick in the comments.
