Claire Newman Isn’t Buying the Innocent Act
At the Chancellor Park Cafรฉ, Victoria Newman corners Kyle Abbott with a pitch to relaunch Vibrante against Jabot, insisting the “rivalry” would be pure theater and a nice distraction from her family’s drama. Kyle isn’t thrilled about hyping the competition, but he’s intrigued enough to shake on it, promising to run it by Jack first. That’s when Claire Newman strolls up and asks what her mother is scheming now.
Victoria goes conveniently vague and bolts, leaving Claire Newman to grill Kyle solo. He tries small talk about Holden and Harrison, but Claire circles back: is reviving her mother’s failed brand his sneaky way of getting revenge on the Newmans? He never answers, and that silence will cost him.

Victor Newman and Nikki Newman Round Two
At the ranch, Nikki Newman fills Victor Newman in on her visit with Nick, who wants his father to stop by and could use a real sponsor. Victor grumbles that Jack already showed up sniffing around and refuses to let him near their son. Nikki reminds him their love outweighs his grudge, and their fight escalates until Victoria walks in and gets recruited to referee.
Both parents plead their case, and Victoria lands on the fair answer: let Nick decide. Nikki agrees instantly, and Victor grudgingly says he’ll think about it, which from him is basically a concession speech.
Diane Jenkins Wants Her Husband Out of This
At Society, Diane Jenkins listens as Jack Abbott lays out Lily’s payoff offer and worries Billy will cut him out forever. Diane pushes him to let his siblings fight it out and proposes a getaway instead, and Jack lights up until he remembers his promise to help Nick.
Diane isn’t thrilled a favor for Nikki might outrank a trip with his wife, and Jack scrambles to clarify he’s doing this for Nick, not his mother. Still spooked after their last near-death detour, she settles for one plea: let Billy handle Chancellor alone.

Stephanie Simmons Gets Closer to Nate
At his penthouse, Nate Hastings and Stephanie Simmons swap origin stories over coffee, and she opens up about growing into a “superhero without a cape” despite the doubters. Nate credits a childhood motorcycle accident for showing him he’s built for medicine, and the two admit meeting each other feels like more than coincidence before she exits.
Nate lets Devon Winters in after, thrilled Nate might return to surgery but genuinely worried how far Lily will go to keep Chancellor. It’s the kind of family fault line this whole stretch of Young and the Restless spoilers keeps circling back to, and the cousins start scheming on how to talk her down, right as Lily runs into Stephanie back at Crimson Lights for an easy, unbothered catch-up.
Nobody in Genoa City Trusts Anybody
Claire Newman’s instincts are firing for good reason, since half of Genoa City is quietly plotting behind somebody else’s back. Between Victor and Nikki’s endless tug-of-war and Diane’s losing battle to keep her husband out of Abbott business, only Nate and Stephanie seem at peace, and even that feels too good to last.
