Sally Spectra’s Big News Finally Catches Up With Her
Sally Spectra and Audra Charles toast their deal at Crimson Lights. Audra reminds her friend she still owes Billy the truth, and figures he might surprise them by taking it in stride. Sally is not convinced, and wants to break it to him in public so he cannot fully lose it.
Across town, Billy Abbott calls Cane to swear his focus is on the job, then ducks a call from his own mother entirely. He goes digging online about Jill’s secret and finds nothing new, and when Sally reaches him by phone, talk of his mother’s betrayals only sours his mood further. The moment he hears the baby is fine, he changes the subject before Sally can get her real news out, and she decides it needs to happen in person instead.
Back at Crimson Lights, Audra reads the silence correctly and guesses Sally told Billy nothing. She pushes her friend to make him understand they were strong-armed into selling, and offers to back her up in person if needed. That real news finally lands when Victoria Newman shows up at Billy’s, fishing for details about the Newman Media handover, and Billy bluffs that he already knows everything.
Sally Spectra walks in mid-lie and gets cornered into confirming it herself. Victoria repeats the terms back plainly, no compensation at all, then loses interest and leaves it for her father to deal with. Billy is left staring at Sally, appalled that Adam and Chelsea strong-armed her into this, and he vows on the spot to get the company back no matter what she says.

Victor Isn’t Buying a Word of It
Victor Newman summons Adam Newman and Chelsea Lawson to the ranch in front of Victoria Newman, demanding a straight answer on how they got Newman Media back. Adam claims he forced Spectra-Charles into relinquishing their holdings to dodge public humiliation, and Chelsea insists she is the one who talked them down, which only leaves Victoria more confused than convinced.
Adam gets defensive fast, complaining that he has bent over backwards for his father while Victoria got named CEO for nothing. He threatens to go back to “the darkside” if Victor keeps pushing, and Chelsea jumps in acting offended, reminding everyone of Adam’s sacrifices. Victor clocks every bit of the deflecting, and Adam ends the conversation and storms off with Chelsea rather than answer anything else.
Later, at the Chancellor Park café, Adam and Chelsea privately admit the whole story hinges on Sally and Audra keeping quiet, and that Adam never actually paid a cent for Newman Media. Chelsea wonders if he secretly resents losing the top job to Victoria, and whether he might retaliate by going after the whole Newman empire. He admits the validation would feel good, but insists all he really wants is Connor and a normal life with her, not a war with his father.
Nikki’s Rough Night
Back at the ranch, Nikki Newman fumbles for her lipstick but cannot bring herself to put it on before finally calling for help. She admits to Victor that her shattered bedroom mirror was not an accident. She was furious and took it out on the glass, and his reassurance that her condition is temporary does little to lift her out of it.
Victoria’s well-meaning check-in on her mother only frustrates Nikki further, and when she tries to storm off, she stumbles straight into Victor’s arms instead, crying that she hates all of it.

She Warned Him, and He Still Didn’t Listen
Sally Spectra spent this entire episode trying to protect Billy from a truth he was always going to find out the hard way, and the timing could not have backfired harder.
