Y&R SPICY HOT TAKE! Diane Jenkins Is Punishing a Victim and She Knows Victor Newman’s Playbook Well Enough to Know Better
Diane Jenkins slapped Jack Abbott and walked out. Victor Newman has a history of weaponizing sex against his enemies. She should know better.

DIANE JENKINS IS BLAMING THE WRONG MAN AND GENOA CITY SHOULD BE FURIOUS
TL;DR: Diane Jenkins walked onto that yacht, found her kidnapped, drugged husband in bed with Patty Williams, slapped him across the face, packed a bag, and left on The Young and the Restless. We are not here to defend what Diane saw. We are here to say that Victor Newman has a documented history of weaponizing sex against his enemies and Diane Jenkins knows that better than almost anyone in Genoa City.
Let Us Set the Record Straight
Jack Abbott did not cheat on his wife. Jack Abbott was kidnapped by Victor Newman, held on a yacht in the middle of Lake Michigan against his will, and locked in a cabin with Patty Williams, a woman with a long and well documented history of dangerous obsession with him. Jack told Diane Jenkins that Patty drugged him. He told her there were no limits once the drugs took hold. He told her he was profoundly sorry and that none of it made sense.
Diane slapped him across the face, told him she was disgusted, packed a bag, and walked out of the Abbott mansion.
We need to talk about this. Because what happened on that yacht is not an affair. It is not a lapse in judgment. It is not a man who forgot he was married. It is the latest chapter in Victor Newman’s long, ugly, and deeply disturbing pattern of using sexual manipulation as a weapon against the people he hates most.

Victor Newman Has Done This Before and Genoa City Knows It
This is not speculation. This is history.
In 2015, Victor Newman kidnapped Jack Abbott and replaced him with a drug lord lookalike named Marco Annicelli. Marco moved into Jack’s home. Marco slept with Jack’s wife, Phyllis Summers. Phyllis had no idea she was sleeping with a stranger. Fans and commentators have long called what happened to Phyllis exactly what it was: rape by deception, orchestrated by Victor Newman.
And that is not the only time.
Victor hired Chelsea Lawson to go to Myanmar, drug Billy Abbott, take compromising photos, and sleep with him without his consent. He had heroin planted on Billy to get him thrown into a foreign prison. Chelsea later arrived in Genoa City pregnant with a child from that encounter. The entire scheme was designed to destroy Billy’s marriage to Victoria Newman, and it worked.
That is two separate instances of Victor Newman orchestrating the sexual assault of his enemies as a tactical maneuver. And now Jack Abbott, the same man who was already victimized by the Marco scheme, has been kidnapped again, drugged again, and put in a position where he could not consent to what happened on that yacht.
Diane Jenkins knows all of this. She has lived in Genoa City long enough to know Victor’s playbook cover to cover. And she still packed a bag.
The Case Against Diane Jenkins, Presented Without Apology
We are not here to minimize what Diane saw. Walking into that cabin and finding her husband in bed with Patty Williams must have been devastating. The lipstick on his shirt. Patty lounging in the sheets quipping about Jack being “starved for a real woman.” That image is seared into Diane’s brain and no amount of context is going to erase it overnight.
But context matters. And Diane Jenkins has more context than almost anyone.
She knows what Victor did to Phyllis. She knows what Victor did to Billy. She knows her husband was kidnapped and held against his will. She knows Patty Williams is not a stable woman and has a decades long history of fixating on Jack. And Jack told her, to her face, that he was drugged.
Diane’s response was to slap him and leave.
She did not ask a single question about what drugs were involved. She did not ask how long he had been held. She did not ask if he was physically safe. She punished him for something that was done TO him, and she did it in front of Kyle Abbott and Billy, both of whom looked like they could not believe what they were watching.
Patty said “Oops” when Diane walked in. She ruffled her hair and called Jack a poor man who was starved for a real woman. That is not the behavior of a woman who was part of a consensual encounter. That is the behavior of a woman who knows she won. And the person who set up that victory is Victor Newman.
Jack Abbott Deserves Better Than This and So Does Genoa City
Victor Newman threw his own wife out of the ranch this week. He told Nikki Newman to “begone.” He told her to go lick Jack’s wounds. He is a man so consumed by his need to destroy Jack Abbott that he kidnapped him, locked him on a yacht with an unstable woman, and created the conditions for something to happen that Jack could not control.
And the person paying the price right now is not Victor. It is Jack.
Diane Jenkins walked out of that marriage because of what she saw, not because of what she understood. And until she stops long enough to recognize that what happened on that yacht was not a betrayal but a violation, she is doing exactly what Victor Newman wanted her to do. She is punishing the victim. She is rewarding the man who orchestrated it. And she is giving Patty Williams exactly the chaos she grinned about from those rumpled sheets.
Jack Abbott told his son to spare him the lecture until they got home. He sat in that mansion alone with a drink in his hand while Diane packed and left. That is not a man who got caught. That is a man who survived something and came home to find out the damage was already done.
Diane Jenkins is wrong for walking out. Victor Newman is the one who should be answering for this. And Genoa City needs to stop letting that man weaponize other people’s bodies and call it strategy.
Do you think Diane Jenkins will eventually see that Jack Abbott was the victim on that yacht? Or has Victor Newman successfully destroyed another Abbott marriage? Sound off below because this one is going to get heated!
