The Moustache built a whole AI program just to fabricate emails proving Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn), and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) illegally took Newman Enterprises out from under him. He waved the fake evidence at Phyllis as blackmail. She called his bluff.

So Victor went nuclear. On Friday, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) walked a stack of those damaging emails straight into the office of new Genoa City DA Christine Romalotti (Lauralee Bell), Phyllis’s longtime nemesis. Christine is licking her chops. The trap is set.

What Happens to Cane Ashby on Y&R Next Week?

Cane gets arrested at the GCAC. Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) is going to be standing right there watching it happen, and the timing could not be more devastating.

Cane is the confirmed bone marrow match for Malcolm Winters (Shemar Moore), who is lying in a New York hospital bed fighting aplastic anemia and running out of time. After weeks of tested family members coming back negative — Lily ruled out for chemo history, Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) tested but not a match — Cane stepping up was the miracle. Now Victor is about to slap handcuffs on that miracle.

Will Lily Winters and Holden Novak Crack the AI Lie?

Yes, and this is exactly the moment Holden Novak has been waiting for. The man just found out Malcolm is his bio dad. He failed the donor match. He has spent weeks watching Devon Hamilton-Winters (Bryton James) and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) side-eye him like he does not belong. Now? Now he has a second shot at saving his father, and it is hidden inside Victor’s stack of fake emails.

Lily is going to recruit her brother Devon, her cousin Nate, and her newbie half-brother Holden, and they are going to tear those emails apart line by line. Christine in the real world would have a whole team of ADAs reading every word with a fine-tooth comb. Could this mean a date error? Maybe an email dated November 31 or somewhere in 2027? Don’t be surprised if Holden is the one who spots the glitch and finally earns his Winters stripes in Devon and Nate’s eyes. As Cane is being redeemed by saving Malcolm’s life, Holden gets redeemed by saving Cane.

Reading between the lines, this is the storyline that finally hands The Moustache his first real defeat in years. And Victoria? She personally walked fabricated evidence into a sitting DA’s office. Her name is on the file. If I know these writers, the next Newman in handcuffs is the princess herself.

Phyllis is no angel, but she did not do what Victor cooked up to frame her. Cane is a hero, not a thief. And Billy Abbott just got engaged to Sally Spectra and has bigger things to worry about than Daddy Newman’s vendetta. The truth is coming out. Mark it down.
