Holden Novak Is Not a Match

The results came back. Holden Novak is not a viable donor for Malcolm Winters.

Stephanie Simmons blew up her son’s entire identity, confessed to a decades old lie, and dragged a man who did not know his own father into a medical crisis he never asked to be part of. And it was not enough.

Lily Winters cannot donate because of her cancer history. Holden cannot donate because the genetics did not line up. Malcolm Winters has a daughter who wants to save him and cannot, a son he just met who tried and failed, and a doctor who would have let him die without knowing either of them existed if his body had not forced her hand.

Lily did not hesitate. The second those results landed, she pivoted to Mattie and Charlie in LA. Malcolm did not even know his grandchildren could be an option until Lily brought it up, and Stephanie’s face when she heard Malcolm has grandchildren he never told her about was the look of a woman realizing just how much of his life she missed by keeping her mouth shut for thirty years.

Malcolm’s first chemo treatment has been scheduled. The clock is not waiting for anyone to process their feelings. Holden asked Malcolm to keep him posted. Stephanie swore she would move heaven and earth to save his life. But heaven and earth have not produced a match yet and Genoa City is running out of Winters DNA to test.

Nick Newman Walked Into a Dark Room and Did Not Walk Out

Nick Newman told Adam Newman he wanted to handle this himself. Adam said no. Nick said it needs to end with him versus Matt Clark. Adam said that was a terrible idea. Nick went anyway.

He went to the bathroom first. He did drugs. He checked his nostrils in the mirror. Then he walked out, told his brother he was going to Riza’s room to grab Matt, and insisted Adam wait in the hallway.

Nick left his phone line open so Adam could hear him. He walked to Riza’s door. It was open. The lights were out. He stepped inside, called out to see if anyone was there, and someone threw a hood over his head.

Matt Clark has Nick Newman. A Newman brother who is high, alone, and operating on rage instead of reason just walked into exactly the trap Sienna warned everyone about weeks ago. She said Matt wanted Nick out of Genoa City. She said it was his plan to get Nick isolated. She was right. And now Nick is in a dark room in Vegas with a hood over his head and the only person who knows is Adam, standing in a hallway listening to silence.

Chelsea Lawson’s Grifter Gut Is Never Wrong

Chelsea Lawson had a nightmare. Adam turned back into Spyder and did not recognize her. She woke up terrified and went straight to Sharon Newman at Crimson Lights.

Sharon tried to calm her down. She said Nick would look out for Adam. She said there were a dozen reasons they might not be answering their phones. She said all the right things and none of them worked because Chelsea Lawson’s grifter gut does not respond to logic. It responds to danger. And it is screaming.

Neither Adam nor Nick is answering. Chelsea is done waiting. She announced she is going to Vegas.

Chelsea Lawson heading to Sin City while Nick has a hood over his head and Adam is standing in a hallway with a phone full of missed messages from her is the kind of collision course that Y&R was built for. She is walking into a situation that is already worse than she imagines and she does not know the half of it yet.

Chelsea is heading to Vegas while Nick has a hood over his head. How bad is this about to get? Sound off below because Friday is CHAOS!
