NICK NEWMAN IS IN VEGAS WITH A HOOD OVER HIS HEAD AND NOBODY IS COMING FAST ENOUGH

TL;DR: Nick Newman is face to face with Matt Clark in a dark hotel room in Vegas on next week’s The Young and the Restless promo and the greeting Matt gave him should make everyone’s skin crawl. Meanwhile, Sally Spectra asked Audra Charles to bring her something and will not say what it is or why she needs it, and Traci Abbott reminded Diane Jenkins that a woman who faked her own death should probably consider giving Jack a little grace.

“Hey Nick, Longtime No See”

Nick Newman walked into Riza’s dark hotel room alone, strung out, against his brother’s wishes, and got grabbed. Someone threw a hood over his head. And now Matt Clark is standing over him, pulling that hood off, and greeting him like they are old friends catching up over drinks.

That is not a threat. That is worse. That is a man who has been waiting for this exact moment. Sienna warned everyone weeks ago that Matt wanted Nick out of Genoa City. She said the Vegas trip was a setup designed to isolate him. Nobody listened. And now Nick Newman is exactly where Matt Clark wanted him, in a room with no backup, no sobriety, and no way out.

Adam Newman is in the hallway. Nick’s phone line is open. Chelsea Lawson is on her way to Vegas because her grifter gut is screaming and neither brother will answer the phone. The cavalry is assembling but nobody knows if it is assembling fast enough.

Sally Spectra Needs Something and Will Not Say Why

Audra Charles asked Sally Spectra if she was okay. Sally skipped the small talk entirely. “Did you bring what I asked for?”

No context. No explanation. Just a woman who needs something from a woman she is not particularly close to and is not interested in chatting about it. Whatever Sally asked for, it is important enough to skip pleasantries and urgent enough that she needs confirmation before she will say another word.

Audra and Sally have never been natural allies. The fact that Sally went to her specifically means either nobody else could help or nobody else could know. Both options suggest Sally Spectra is neck deep in something Genoa City does not see coming.

Traci Abbott Said What Nobody Else Would

Traci Abbott is the gentlest soul in Genoa City and she just delivered the most devastating read of the week without raising her voice.

She told Diane Jenkins that a woman who convinced Jack Abbott and her own son that she was dead should maybe consider giving Jack a little grace right now. That is not an insult. That is a receipt. Diane faked her death. She let her family grieve her. She came back and expected forgiveness. And now she cannot extend the same courtesy to a man who was drugged on a yacht by Victor Newman’s hired psychopath.

Traci did not yell. Traci did not judge. Traci simply reminded Diane Jenkins who she used to be and let the silence do the rest. And that silence is going to echo through the Abbott house for a very long time.
