MALCOLM WINTERS IS HOME AND GENOA CITY IS NOT READY

TL;DR: Malcolm Winters will walk back into Genoa City on The Young and the Restless spoilers for the week of April 6, and he is bringing a secret with him. Dr. Stephanie Simmons will make a surprise visit the same day, their reunion on Wednesday will be loaded with history, and Lily Winters will be trusted with a secret so shocking she will go straight to Traci Abbott for guidance. Meanwhile, Adam Newman is playing with fire with Riza, Matt Clark will back Nick Newman into a corner, and Diane Jenkins will refuse to accept Jack Abbott’s apology.

This Week in Genoa City

Malcolm Winters is coming home. Lily Winters will watch her father walk into the GCAC and smile, but whatever Malcolm Winters is carrying back to Genoa City is heavier than a homecoming. He is returning with a secret on Tuesday, and by Wednesday he and Dr. Stephanie Simmons will have an emotional reunion that makes it very clear these two have unfinished business that goes back years. Stephanie will remember how they were set up, how everyone thought they were perfect for each other, and by Thursday they will be forced to confront the complicated past that kept them apart. Lily will be trusted with a shocking secret on Wednesday, lean on Traci Abbott for guidance on Thursday, and take matters into her own hands by Friday. Whatever Malcolm brought home, his daughter is not going to sit on it quietly.

Meanwhile, Adam Newman is getting dangerously close to Riza. She will kiss him this week and he will tell her he is looking forward to more, which prompted Nick Newman to ask his brother exactly how far he is willing to go with this woman. Adam is playing with fire on Friday and Matt Clark will back Nick into a corner the same day, which means neither Newman brother is getting out of this week unscathed. And Diane Jenkins will refuse to accept Jack Abbott‘s apology on Monday, which after everything Victor put them through with Patty on that yacht, is either the coldest move in Genoa City or the one Jack had coming.

Monday, April 6

Diane will refuse Jack’s apology, and given that this man was just rescued from a yacht where Patty Williams was crawling all over him, Diane has earned every ounce of that refusal. Abby Newman will reach out to an old friend, and whoever she is calling back into her orbit is someone she clearly needs right now. And Holden Novak will find himself in a compromising position, which is the kind of sentence that could mean anything from a business deal gone wrong to something far more personal.

Tuesday, April 7

Malcolm Winters will return to Genoa City with a secret, and Shemar Moore walking back into this role is already the biggest event of the spring. Dr. Stephanie Simmons will make a surprise visit the same day as Vivica A. Fox arrives in town, and the fact that these two are showing up at the same time is not a coincidence. Whatever connects them is about to unfold across the rest of the week and Genoa City has no idea what is coming.

Wednesday, April 8

Malcolm and Stephanie will have an emotional reunion that goes deeper than pleasantries. She will remember how excited the people who loved them were when they set them up, how everyone thought they were perfect together, and whatever happened between then and now left marks that have not healed. Phyllis Summers will tempt Cane Ashby, and after everything she has put that man through, the fact that she still thinks she can dangle something in front of him is pure Phyllis. And Lily will be trusted with a shocking secret that will send her reeling.

Thursday, April 9

Malcolm Winters and Stephanie will be forced to discuss their complicated past, and whatever they left unresolved is clearly not something either of them can keep dancing around. Lily will lean on Traci for guidance, and when a Winters goes to an Abbott for help, you know the secret is serious. And Claire Newman will see a new side of Holden, which after his compromising position on Monday suggests that whatever Holden is involved in is starting to show.

Friday, April 10

Lily will take matters into her own hands to help Malcolm Winters, and this woman is not the type to sit on information when someone she loves is in trouble. Adam Newman will play with fire, and given that Riza kissed him this week and he kissed her back, the question Nick asked is the one we are all asking: how far is he willing to go? And Matt Clark will back Nick into a corner, which means the man the Newmans have been hunting has flipped the game and is now the one doing the chasing.
