Nick Newman Has Matt Clark Stashed in His Trunk Like Luggage

OH. MY. GOD. Young and the Restless fans, NICK NEWMAN has had Matt Clark this ENTIRE TIME! After hobbling over to the Abbott mansion on crutches begging Jack and Kyle to hand over Matt, Nick heads to Sharon’s house and starts gathering supplies from a storage box outside. Rope. Pruning shears. Gloves. Tea towels. This man is on a MISSION, and it’s giving very much “I’m about to handle this myself” energy!

Nick quietly makes his way to his car and opens the trunk. And there he is: Matt Clark, tied up and UNCONSCIOUS! But Noah heard something and followed his dad outside. He walks up and sees Matt lying there. “Oh my God. Is Matt dead?”

Nick tells Noah to go back to the house and not worry about it. Noah asks if they should hand Matt over to the GCPD, but Nick shakes his head. They can’t allow Matt to make any more threats against their family! Noah demands to know exactly what Nick plans to do with Matt. And THAT is where we leave it! Nick Newman going full vigilante was NOT on my 2026 bingo card, but here we ARE!

Y&R fans, what do you think Nick is planning to do with Matt? Write to the editor at amber@soapoperamagazine.com!

Nick Newman Plays Jack Abbott Like a Fiddle

Earlier, Nick showed up at the Abbott mansion claiming he needed Jack and Kyle to hand over Matt Clark immediately. He insisted Matt had escaped and was a danger to everyone they love, including Claire, Sharon, Nikki, and even HARRISON! Kyle asked why Matt would go after Harrison, and Nick reminded him that Harrison is his grandson and Matt knows the Abbotts are after him too!

Nick begged them to give him Matt, promising he’d guarantee no attacks or threats against Jabot in return. Jack was skeptical but seemed to believe Nick when he said Victor wasn’t even thinking about Jabot right now. Little did Jack know that Nick already HAD Matt stashed in his trunk the whole time! He was literally sitting there playing the concerned victim while Matt was tied up in his car outside! The AUDACITY of this man, and honestly? We kind of love it!

Sally Spectra Tells Billy He’s Making the Biggest Mistake of His Life

Back at Billy’s apartment, Sally is NOT having it! She confronts Billy about Cane’s offer to give him Chancellor Industries. Billy reminds her they already have a contract stating she becomes sole CEO of Abbott Communications if he gets Chancellor, but Sally says this isn’t about business. This is about THEM!

Sally warns him that if he gets Chancellor, Victor will come after him immediately. Billy fires back that Victor will always be gunning for him anyway, so why avoid the conflict? He thinks they could be the POWER COUPLE of Genoa City if he runs Chancellor and she runs Abbott Communications! Sally isn’t buying it. She tells him if he accepts Cane’s offer, he’ll be making the biggest mistake he’s ever made!

Things get HEATED when Sally accuses Billy of not caring about her opinion. Billy yells that his mother funding Abbott Communications was done anonymously and Jill shouldn’t factor in at all! Sally finally snaps and says it’s obvious he’ll do whatever he wants, and anyone who opposes him can go straight to HELL! She gathers her things and storms out, warning him she won’t be happy if he goes through with it. These two are on very thin ice!

Diane Jenkins Abbott Is Living for Victor’s Downfall

Over at Society, Diane meets with Michael and learns that the AI has turned on Newman Enterprises from the inside! She grins and says Jack was RIGHT to suspect something like this would happen. She thinks Victor is getting exactly what he deserves after all the harm he’s done to people over the years!

Michael tries to defend Victor, but Diane isn’t hearing it. She says this assault will only make Victor more dangerous and unpredictable than ever. And she’s absolutely THRILLED that Phyllis will have to endure Victor’s particular brand of revenge! She tells Michael that Phyllis is the enemy who needs to be put in her place once and for all. Diane is serving ice queen energy and we’re HERE for it!

Back at the Abbott mansion, Diane confirms to Jack and Kyle that Newman is definitely under attack. Jack wants to bring Jabot back online, but only when it’s safe. The Abbotts might actually survive this war after all!

Nick has Matt in his trunk, Sally stormed out on Billy, and Diane is celebrating Victor’s downfall! What a Friday! Sound off below!
