Nick Newman Drags Himself to Billy’s Apartment on a Broken Leg
Nick Newman has been medicating a fractured leg and a vendetta against Phyllis Summers for over a month. On Tuesday’s episode of The Young and the Restless, instead of resting, he hobbles into Billy Abbott’s apartment and threatens to have him spitting teeth if he keeps talking.
Billy is not threatened. He gloats about winning and calls the day “sweet.” Nick fires back that Billy won’t have time to print business cards before he’s lost everything. They trade jabs about Phyllis, Chancellor, and who has the right to be self-righteous. Nick accuses Billy of lashing out like a three-year-old. Billy admits his fight is fueled by personal animosity but doesn’t see a problem with that. Nick tells him that’s exactly why he always loses.
Billy makes it clear he and Phyllis are not partners. Nick doesn’t care about the distinction. He tells Billy he’s making a mistake and orders him to leave. Sally walks in as Nick is on his way out, and he tells her she’s wasting her life with “this punk.”
Nick Newman is unraveling and we need to talk about it. Write to our editor Amber at [email protected] with your predictions!
Sally Spectra Packs Her Bags and Tells Billy “We’re Done”
After Nick storms out, Billy tries to apologize for the night before and hopes they can move forward. Sally has other plans. She tells Billy she needs to pack her things and move out. For her own sake.
He keeps lying, she says, telling her he wants her when what he really wants is power, prestige, and a sense of belonging. She was never enough. Billy doesn’t see anything wrong with fighting for his dreams. Sally tells him he’s been blinded.
“We’re done,” she says.
Billy begs her not to do this. Sally says he did this. There’s no coming back. He tells her he loves her. She tells him she loves him too, but he wants “it all” and she was never going to fill that void. She walks out.
Victor Bellows “Find a Way!” at Cane Ashby
At the Newman ranch, Cane arrives looking beaten. He asks Victor to release Lily and the twins. Victor and Nikki, smug on the couch, ask how it feels to be screwed over by Phyllis and Billy.
“It doesn’t feel very good,” Cane admits. He reminds them they’re all sinking. Victor doesn’t care. If Cane wants his family back, he needs to deliver Newman Enterprises. When Cane says he doesn’t know how, Victor bellows, “Find a way!”
Nikki is hitting her limit. She warns Victor she won’t go along with any more “abductions.” Victor promises he will become Phyllis and Billy’s worst nightmare. Knowing Victor Newman, that’s a guarantee.
Adam Warns Sally to Get Away From Billy
Earlier, Sally runs into Adam at the GCAC bar and assures him she had nothing to do with the Phyllis and Billy scheme. When she admits things between her and Billy aren’t great, Adam says he’s not sorry to hear that.
Sally is surprised Adam didn’t know Billy folded Newman Media into Abbott Communications. Adam almost admires Phyllis’s audacity, noting she managed to screw over four generations in one move. But he’s certain his father will crush them both eventually.
Adam asks Sally how much longer she’s going to put up with Billy. She says he has no right to judge how another man treats her. He agrees but warns her everything is about to escalate. He hopes she’s not standing next to Billy when it gets nastier. She’s on the losing side.
Adam then heads to the ranch to update Victor and Nikki about Newman Media being absorbed into Abbott Communications. Nikki finds it hard to stomach. She wonders what Katherine would say to her now. Victor yells that he doesn’t lose and will crush them all.
Sharon and Chelsea Bond at Crimson Lights
At Crimson Lights, Chelsea is surprised to see Sharon back at work so soon. Sharon says she’s trying to stay busy after Mariah started pushing her away.
Chelsea checks in gently about the Mariah situation. Sharon blames Ian Ward for everything. He trained her to be evil, but her big heart saved her until the demons came back. Chelsea assures her that Mariah will find the light again and tells Sharon what a great mom she is.
They lighten up to gossip about Connor having a girlfriend. The conversation drifts to the Newman mess. Sharon admits she’s not surprised Phyllis is at the center of it. Chelsea can’t understand how Phyllis can do all of this to Nick. Sharon says everyone always forgives Phyllis, but this time might be different.
Nick Newman Sits at Crimson Lights With Fentanyl in His Pocket
Nick arrives at Crimson Lights in visible pain, grunting and furious. He joins Sharon and Chelsea and starts venting about Phyllis losing her moral compass. Chelsea speculates. Nick calls Phyllis selfish. He crushes a water bottle in his fist and says she will pay for this for the rest of her life.
Sally steps away to take a call. Sharon offers to make Nick some tea to calm him down.
As she walks away, Nick realizes he’s completely out of pain medication. He reaches into his pocket. Matt Clark’s bag of fentanyl is still there. The same fentanyl Matt used to drug Noah. The same fentanyl Nick once threw back at Matt, shouting, “This kills people!” The same bag Nick found in his pocket outside Sharon’s house on January 20 and never threw away.
Sharon is ten feet away brewing tea. She has no idea. Tuesday’s spoilers say Nick makes a bad decision. We are terrified.
Is Nick about to take the fentanyl? Sound off, Y&R fans, and share this with everyone who needs to brace for Tuesday!
