The Newman Women Have Had Enough
It’s the song that never ends on The Young and the Restless, folks. The oldest and most restless couple in Genoa City, Victor and Nikki Newman, are on the verge of splitting yet again, all in the name of Jack Abbott. Meanwhile, over at the Newman compound, the youngest yet still restless Newman couple, Adam and Chelsea Lawson, are close to being on the outs AGAIN.
Perhaps Nikki and Chelsea can get a two-for-one on a divorce lawyer in Genoa City. If only attorney Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) hadn’t been killed, she could’ve handled the caseload.
Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) has doubled down on leaving her hubby Victor (Eric Braeden) if he doesn’t give up the AI program that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) stole from Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn). Well, this has escalated quickly. Or, not??

Victor’s Jack Abbott Obsession Has Officially Jumped the Shark
The Great Victor Newman has beaten this dead horse into the ground. His darling wife’s BFF, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), supposedly tried to kill her at the Genoa City Athletic Club. For the love of everything in soap opera world, Jack was doing his damndest to HELP Nikki. Make. It. Stop.
Well, it’s not going to stop, because we’re dealing with The Almighty Victor Newman and now his son Adam (Mark Grossman), who also has a BFF named Jack Abbott. Like stepmother, like rebooted baby mama Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan), she wants out of this hot, dead horse being beaten mess.
Seriously, The Mustache is not nearly as almighty as he used to be. His ongoing vendetta against Jack and Jabot is beyond tiresome. He literally has Jack’s dead niece’s heart inside of him. Victor also has a daughter with Jack’s sister, Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson). How dare he sponsor the demise of the late John Abbott’s (the late Jerry Douglas) company and family?
At Least Nikki Newman and Chelsea Lawson Found Each Other
Now, somehow, Adam is riding alongside his father with his boring baby mama. Well, if Adam is on the Victor train, Chelsea should stay on the Nikki train. They have formed a convenient friendship on the ranch that Young and the Restless fans didn’t see coming, along with Victoria (Amelia Heinle).
Does anyone REALLY care anymore if Victor and Nikki remain married? Can Nikki take Chelsea off the Newman Ranch when she leaves? Y&R fans miss Adam when he wasn’t bowing down to his pops and wasn’t stuck at home eating chips with Chelsea.
