The Young and the Restless
Y&R Hot Plot! Phyllis Summers Is Taking Over the GCAC Powder Room and Nobody Can Stop Her!
The GCAC Powder Room is open on The Young and the Restless and Phyllis Summers hasn’t even walked in yet. Genoa City has no idea what’s coming

THE GCAC POWDER ROOM IS OPEN. PHYLLIS SUMMERS IS ALREADY PLANNING HER TAKEOVER.
TL;DR: The GCAC Powder Room made its debut on The Young and the Restless and Nikki Newman and Diane Jenkins christened it first, but everyone already knows whose room it really is — and Phyllis Summers hasn’t even walked in yet.
The New Room in Town
Genoa City Athletic Club has been a The Young and the Restless institution for decades — the site of more confrontations, confessions, and carefully crafted schemes than any other location in town. But until now, one room has remained a mystery. The GCAC Powder Room made its debut recently, and Nikki Newman and Diane Jenkins had the honor of christening it. Fitting, really — two women who have never been short on drama, sharing a space not even remotely close to being big enough for their history. If fans think Nikki and Diane were just a warm-up act, they haven’t been paying attention.
Let’s just say that the GCAC Powder Room’s real queen has not even made her entrance yet.

Phyllis Summers on Tap to Dominate the GCAC Powder Room…Duh!
Let’s be clear about something. Phyllis Summers lives at the GCAC. She is not a guest. She is not passing through. She has essentially claimed that building as her personal headquarters, and now that a powder room has been revealed, consider it annexed. Phyllis is currently in the middle of everything happening at Newman Enterprises, pulling strings, working angles, and making moves that nobody saw coming.
A woman operating at that level needs a power base — and that powder room just became hers. Every conversation that happens in there, every mirror moment, every carefully timed entrance — Phyllis will own it.
Phyllis vs Cricket — Oldest Rivalry, Brand New Setting
Christine Blair is back in Genoa City, and word is she may be staying. For Phyllis, that means one thing — her least favorite bug has just flown back into her orbit. Phyllis has never needed much of a reason to have a problem with Cricket, and Cricket has returned the favor for decades. It is only a matter of time before those two end up in the GCAC Powder Room at the same time. The history between them runs so deep that even a chance encounter with the hand soap could set something off. This is must-watch television waiting to happen.
Phyllis vs Diane — The Confrontation That Never Ends
Diane Jenkins and Phyllis Summers have been circling each other for years, and neither one of them ever truly lands the knockout punch. The GCAC Powder Room now changes the math. There is nowhere to pivot, nowhere to redirect, nowhere to pretend you didn’t see each other coming. Just two women, a mirror, and decades of unfinished business. Diane had the powder room first — but Phyllis will not let that stand for long.
Phyllis vs Sharon — The Kidnapping Bond Gets Complicated
This one is the wildcard. Phyllis Summers and Sharon Newman have spent most of their The Young and the Restlesslives as adversaries, but something shifted when they were kidnapped together. They just had a genuine moment — the kind that neither of them was fully prepared for. Now imagine those two running into each other in the powder room with all of that weird new energy between them. Is it a truce? Is it a relapse into old habits? Is it both at the same time? The GCAC Powder Room is exactly where that awkward, almost-friendship would either solidify or completely unravel.
Which powder room showdown are you most looking forward to, and how long before Phyllis Summers makes that room completely her own? Sound off in the comments below!
