Kyle Abbott Wasn’t Lying, Rewarded With a Participation Trophy

Y&R’s Jack Abbott & Diane Jenkins are about to reveal to the Abbotts beyond their son Kyle Abbott that they have been faking the recent demise of their marriage short of filing for an annulment or divorce & you know what will hit the fan. Especially after they learn that their nephew Kyle was not lying. Every single thing that came out of his mouth about &/or in front of his mom & dad was from his stone of a soul.

Let’s unpack what will happen when Kyle & the Abbott’s that his reward for being an entitled immature man-child will be a participation trophy in the way of the tower in Genoa City named Jabot…

Glissade Isn’t Good Enough & Diane Already Sort of Knows

It’s not Diane Jenkins’ (Susan Walters) first day dealing with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) so she already has a feeling that something is off with the smooth handover of Glissade to her from Victor with almost zero red tape. Yes, Diane had to fire her son Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), but it isn’t her first day doing that either.

So, Diane’s gut is telling her something is off with the Glissade transaction but instead of taking a deep dive & even reading all the way through Victor’s deal after it was signed, she’s trying to convince her husband/Kyle’s dad/Jabot CEO to revisit their planned end game to win back their son gifting him Glissade with a bow on it, but instead Jabot as Co-CEO.

Shouldn’t Diane have taken her spare time fake being separated from Jack while staying at the GCAC to read the fine print of Victor Newman’s offer to take over Glissade? Jack Abbott could have even stopped over for a rendezvous with a side of business to cover their own business… & Jack Abbott wonders why Victor Newman always wins.

Kyle’s Mommy Exchanges His New Toy for Something Else

According to Diane, after more thought, she & Jack faking the demise of their marriage to acquire a new toy called Glissade for their son to play with may not have been good enough for their self-entitled immature man-child son Kyle. In Diane’s opinion, Kyle should be appointed Co-CEO after ripping both her & Jack to shreds with as much disrespect as Kyle could let loose out of his non-stop open mouth that does not stop making condescending sounds.

The Jabot Co-CEO Horse Has Been Beaten, Fans Move On

Young & the Restless fans are still shaking their heads as it was Kyle Abbott’s idea to promote his mother Diane to Co-CEO with his dad Jack Abbott & him to be named COO. Kyle Abbott is responsible for all of this & he’s been entirely out of line ever since & soap opera fans have all but had enough.

What about the old days on Y&R when companies in Genoa City had just one CEO & the person in that position didn’t change as often as Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) has to change her bedsheets.

Kyle being gifted Glissade to make him feel better is quite the participation trophy no matter what condition Victor Newman passed it to Diane Jenkins in. After all, Kyle claimed to be loyal to Glissade & on & on. If Kyle Abbott is named any kind of CEO at Jabot Y&R Fans will want to vomit.
