Glissade’s Reboot Sponsored by Genoa City’s Most Motivated Unemployed

Glissade has filled up a lot of time on Young & the Restless but is now run by no one. Diane Jenkins has acquired it for her son to make him feel better, but now she’s concerned that Glissade may not be good enough for him even though he was just running it for Victor Newman. Someone has to run it soon. 

How about Billy Abbott runs it with & his pick of the most motivated unemployed executives in Genoa City?

Diane’s Return Pushes Ashley into the Glissade Lab

All of the Abbotts are going to flip once they learn Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) & Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) have been putting an act on all over Genoa City about the “demise” of their marriage & lying to their family’s faces over & over again. Then, once the Abbotts learn all of their acting & lying was for Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Baldwin) benefit, they will be doing cartwheels in disgust. Kyle hasn’t been pleasant to any of the Abbott’s. He was recently even rude to Aunt Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) & that is just disgusting & uncalled for.

At least there will be a silver lining for Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson). She’s just returned & recovered from her treatment in Paris & needs something productive to do during the day. It would be a natural fit to return to the Jabot lab but after she learns her roommate Diane is back after a farse she won’t want to look, live, or work with her brother Jack.

Conveniently, Glissade is hiring & Ashley is already familiar with the company. Working alongside her brother Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) ordinarily would not be her 1st choice, but my how the circumstances have now changed.

Billy Abbott Earns Kyle Abbott’s Participation Trophy

Angering the Abbott family does not stop with the faking & the lying. Soon Diane will have Jack convinced to install their son Kyle as Co-CEO of Jabot to make amends with Glissade left in the dust & stamped with a giant question mark. Why not have the Abbott question mark run the question mark? Slide in Billy Boy Abbott into Glissade…

Billy Boy Pinky Swears to Protect Jabot, Fingers Crossed

In typical Jack Abbott fashion, he will continue to attempt to protect his father’s legacy, Jabot. Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) acquired Glissade to take down Jack Abbott meaning as-is Glissade is still a competitor of Jabot’s. Jack will attempt to commit his brother Billy to watch out for Jabot if he’s to run Glissade with means not much stronger than two kids pinking swearing on the playground. Billy Boy will obviously have his other hand behind his back with 2 fingers crossed canceling out their grown-up version of pinky swear. Ashley will get a similar line & will go with it. She’s been lied to by her brother “Jacky” & she isn’t happy. Off to the lab Ashley will go & Billy back into a C-suite but this time one he hasn’t seen before.

Audra Charles & Phyllis Summers Compete for COO

For the love of God, let’s hope that Billy Abbott does not install 2 COOs. The Co-CEO & Co-COO plan clearly does not work. It’s been over done & continues to fail every time on Young & the Restless. Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) & Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) are qualified & would be entertaining to soap opera fans working alongside Billy at Glissade. Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) is also qualified but Billy no longer has time for her. Lily was not nearly as squeaky clean as her image when working with & dealing with Billy at Abbott Chancellor. That bridge has been burned.

So, let’s have Billy Boy appoint Audra Charles as COO as she was once a Co-CEO & helped get Glissade to America in the first place. Phyllis Summers can be the Director of Questionable Digital Marketing & Getting Shit Done in the Gray Area, or something along those lines.  Ashley Abbott will clearly run & dominate the Glissade lab.

There’s a new business in town & The Mustache & Smilin’ Jack Abbott better watch out. It’s past time that Billy Abbott wins one.
