Young & the Restless started the week off with a couple of zingers that hopefully have set the tone for how the rest of the week will transpire in Genoa City. Phyllis Summers brought out a new nickname for her least favorite bug & Victor Newman served his wife up an opportunity to go live with his nemesis across town. Oh, the dramatic possibilities to follow Victor, Phyllis, & their words.

Nikki Newman Should Just Go Live with Jack Abbott, Per The Mustache

Whoa! What just came out of Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) mouth? He seriously told his darling wife Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) to go live with his long-time nemesis Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). Apparently, The Mustache was caught off guard once he learned that his darling Nikki went over to the Abbott Estate to comfort her dear friend Jack Abbott after being informed by Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) at the GCAC that their marriage is in trouble & is next to being done & she learned that Victor is the mystery investor of Glissade & confirmed Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) is simply a means to an end to bring down Jabot & Jack Abbott.

Perhaps Nikki Newman should consider Victor’s offer to spend time with Jack Abbott. She has a pending CEO position at Chancellor Industries, but Victor doesn’t own it yet & it’s not certain that he will. Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) is headed back to Genoa City & anything can happen. If Nikki Newman knew what was best her for career she would go back to event planning & enjoying her wealthy lifestyle. As for The Mustache or Smilin’ Jack Abbott, she should flip a coin at this point after all of these years & history on Young & the Restless.

The Incompetent Boob Pauses the Rockstar Life

The Incompetent Boob, formally known as The Bug, is back in Genoa City. Now that Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) is being framed for his wife Heather Stevens’ (Vail Bloom) murder he needs representation. Daniel’s dad Danny Romalotti who is on tour sent his girlfriend/Daniel’s Godmother Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) to Genoa City on the tour jet to help Daniel & to transport Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant) to him to shelter from what is going on in Genoa City. Phyllis is not happy that her least favorite bug, Cricket, an incompetent boob has arrived in Genoa City to represent her son.

Michael Baldwin Breaks Free from Victor (for a Minute)

Phyllis phoned a friend & that friend was her excellent attorney friend Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc). He actually responded & made his way to meet Phyllis at the GCAC immediately after taking her call. For the last few months, Michael Baldwin has been nearly exclusively working for Victor Newman while also trying to earn back his respect. For now, Michael is just going to stay close to Daniel’s case & is confident Cricket can do the job. However, what if Michael does need to get more involved? What happens when Sharon Newman’s (Sharon Case) involvement in Heather’s death comes out & she needs representation? Sounds like another dirty job for Michael Baldwin served up by Victor Newman on a platter Michael has seen too many times to count.
