Does Victor Newman have any respect for anyone on The Young and the Restless? The quick answer is no, but when fans take a pause, that pause is always on the late Neil Winters. Victor publicly treated Neil as his most trusted non-Newman colleague, holding him in higher regard than almost anyone who worked for him. But when it comes to Neil’s daughter Lily Winters? Victor acts like the Winters family legacy means nothing.

The Almighty Victor Newman has been doubling down on disrespecting everyone he knows — family, friends, employees — and it’s gotten exhausting. The last straw? Victor called the late Neil’s daughter Lily and asked her to stage a fake kidnapping. He wanted Lily and her adult twin children with Cane Ashby to pretend they’d been abducted to help him in his corporate war games.

Lily has supposedly agreed, but at what price? It wasn’t long ago that Victor, with the help of his wife Nikki Newman, made a deal with Lily and immediately double-crossed her. Lily was supposed to be the CEO of Chancellor Industries — not Nikki. Now Victor’s asking her to put herself and her children in danger? This isn’t just disrespecting Lily. This is spitting on Neil Winters’ grave.

Victor Targeted Cane, Neil’s Grandchildren’s Father

Say what you will about Cane — and there’s plenty to say — but he’s still the father of Neil’s grandchildren. Neil would have cared about how Cane was treated, at least to some degree. So why did Victor use his AI program to destroy Cane’s company? Because Victor thinks he can do anything. Because Victor always wins.

Now that someone has FINALLY turned the tables on him, Victor Newman’s response is to drag Lily Winters and her children into a dangerous scheme. He’s weaponizing Neil Winters’ family to save himself.

No One Likes This

Victor’s own family doesn’t like it. The Young and the Restless fans don’t like it. And if Neil were still alive, he’d be furious.

If Lily doesn’t come out of this nightmare with Chancellor Industries firmly in her hands, what was this all for? Victor owes the Winters family more than this. He owes Neil’s memory more than this.
