Nick is in Los Angeles dealing with Matt Clark (a psycho who faked his death and raped Sharon), searching for their missing son Noah who’s caught up in a fentanyl ring, and Victor thinks “you know what? I’m NOT going to tell Nikki about any of this”! BRILLIANT HUSBAND BEHAVIOR, Victor!
According to Young and the Restless developments, Nick literally told Victor that “Matt Clark must DIE” and they’re plotting to either imprison or MURDER this man! But Victor decides Nikki doesn’t need to know that their son is dealing with a homicidal criminal while their grandson is missing! The Wednesday Y&R spoilers say Lily Winters reminds the Winters of the importance of family, and we need to talk about Lily’s HYPOCRISY! This woman has been running all over Genoa City defending Cane Ashby to anyone who will listen, and NOW she wants to lecture her family about what’s important?!
Lily has been telling everyone that Cane is “really trying to be a father now” and asking her daughter Mattie if she’ll forgive them! She’s been making excuses for Cane even though THREE PEOPLE DIED on his watch in the South of France! She caught Phyllis and Cane coming down from Phyllis’s hotel suite looking cozy, and her response was to be “disappointed” instead of FURIOUS!
So what is Lily reminding the Winters family about? Is she telling them to forgive Cane and welcome him back with open arms? Is she lecturing Devon about family unity while she’s busy defending her ex-husband?
According to recent Young and the Restless episodes, Lily told Cane “time to prove you mean it” after he said he wanted to fix everything with his family! So Lily is INVESTED in Cane’s redemption arc, which means this Thanksgiving lecture to the Winters family is probably about giving Cane another chance!
Here’s the thing—Lily can remind her family about the importance of unity all she wants, but at some point she needs to acknowledge that Cane has been a DISASTER! Three men died in France! His company is under attack! He’s sleeping with Phyllis while claiming he wants his family back! Maybe instead of lecturing her family, Lily should take her OWN advice and remember that family means holding people ACCOUNTABLE!
