Y&R’s Audra Charles never quits. Despite just being one of the latest professionals to be screwed over by The Almighty Victor Newman, Audra showed up proudly to the new Newman Ranch on Nate Hastings’ arm to Abby & Devon’s wedding. As much as she doesn’t mind spending time with Nate Hastings inside her GCAC suite, she also doesn’t mind being one of the best dressed in any room to network her way to her next best in her professional career. Lily Winters, however, has resorted to refilling her champagne glass with her tears. Guess which woman wins on Young & the Restless…
Audra Charles & Diane Jenkins with Glissade in Common
Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) was ousted as Co-CEO at Glissade faster than it took her to orchestrate Victor Newman’s hostile takeover of the company from Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John). This chess move of Victor’s left Diane Jenkins’ (Susan Walters) son Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) as solo CEO at Glissade. Over this short period of time, it was revealed to Young & the Restless fans that Audra & Diane don’t like one another, but they don’t hate one another either which is the perfect amount of vague feelings either way to entertain doing business together even if it’s a bit dirty.
Lily Winters OUT at Chancellor, Lily Needs to Blame Lily
Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) has been ousted again before she was technically brought back into Abbott Chancellor & she should go check herself in the mirror. Yes, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) let her go first, but Lily started it.
Billy Boy’s career path has had plenty of bumps along the way at best, but this time he was playing the top of his game. Lily let herself be brainwashed by herself & her brother Devon Winters (Bryton James) that Billy’s path only leads to failure. Ergo, Lily did everything in her power to play Billy to get him out of Abbott Chancellor to reboot Chancellor Industries & to be Queen CEO. Billy called her & dumped her & she ran to Victor Newman & anyone else who would listen when she was lunching solo at Society or the GCAC. Victor Newman listened to her the most, manipulated her the most, & then royally kicked her off of her high horse. Too bad Lily forgot to call Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) until it was too late. Now both Lily & Billy are unemployed in Genoa City on Y&R. Then after threatening to skip her brother Devon’s wedding at the new Newman Ranch after Victor screwed her over in about the same fashion as he did Audra Charles, she showed up anyway & refilled her champagne glass with her tears the entire time.
The Race is On & Lily’s High Horse Loses on Y&R
Since Lily has been knocked off of her high horse yet again, she’s still unemployed. She’s also still to good to return to her brother’s company that he created with her dad the late Neil Winters (the late Kristoff St. John). Nobody else in town really wants to work with Devon either, but at least they are family & that would be a legitimate exception to work with such a giant pain in the ass.
As for Audra Charles, she doesn’t have a high horse or even a soul. She just has drive. Once the ink is dry on the contract Diane is signing with Victor next week on Young & the Restless, Kyle’s last lover will be called in to do what she does best on Young & the Restless.
