Diane Jenkins Has Had it with Jack & Kyle & Takes Control

Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) has had it with her entitled adult brat of a son Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) & she’s faking being frustrated with her husband Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) to take control of the both of them & Jabot. There’s no doubt it doesn’t take much to be smarter than Kyle Abbott, but Diane Jenkins is knocking it out of the park.

Diane totally left her laptop out in the Abbott family living room so her dumb ass son would come across a product that “Jabot has in the works.” Even though Diane loves her son, she knows how he’s wired & that he would take whatever she left for him to his new boss Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) at Glissade.

Speaking of Victor Newman, Diane totally answered opportunity knocking on her door when she was lunching with Jack Abbott at the GCAC two tables away from The Mustache. Smilin’ Jack Abbott was smiling after Diane’s out-loud staged fight in front of The Mustache. Of course The Mustache himself had to rub it in after he sent Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) down to the jazz lounge to get whatever scoop Diane was willing to dish out.

Kyle Abbott isn’t the only pawn of Victor Newman’s that Diane Jenkins is smarter than, there’s Michael Baldwin also. However, unlike Kyle, Michael is actually smart but his obsession with having Victor Newman trust him dumbs him down. Whatever manipulated scoop Diane is ready to serve up to Michael Baldwin will be transferred to Victor Newman before it melts.

Sweet Aunt Traci Picks Up on Diane’s Fake Fighting

Everyone’s favorite Aunt Traci (Beth Maitland) is back in Genoa City on Young & the Restless & everyone is happy to have her back. Her brother Jack has consumed everything his wife Diane has been feeding him & Traci is onto it already. Now Traci is pitching for her new boyfriend Dr. Alan Laurent (Christopher Cousins) to move in with her into the Abbott Mansion since he sold & closed on his condo in Paris to be wherever Traci is.

If Dr. Alan is really Dr. Alan & not his twin brother Martin, he will be another set of eyes monitoring Diane’s manipulation to save the Abbott family & Jabot.

Potential Outcomes of Diane’s Scheme

If everything goes to plan for Diane, both Jack & Traci will be thankful & Kyle will pout his way back to being COO of Jabot after losing his job as one of Victor Newman’s real-life pawns.
