Jack Abbott Plays Pennies While All the Abbotts Play Pretend
This Thanksgiving season at the Abbott Estate it’s been almost all pennies & pretending except for a generous side of family-friendly snide remarks. Any trust that is left anywhere inside the Abbott home on Y&R is just a trace & somehow factors in Claire Newman. If this updated Abbott family code of conduct keeps on keeping on, the Christmas cast of characters at the Abbott dining room table will definitely be switched up.
The Abbotts Play Pretend Again on Young & the Restless
This November Young & the Restless have found themselves tuning into the Abbott land of make-believe. Which Abbott is lying to which Abbott? Y&R fans can’t always be sure. The only things real at the Abbott dining room table were things that went inside Abbott’s mouths, but nothing that came out. The Abbott Estate’s newest resident, Dr. Alan Laurent (Christopher Cousins) was kept fed just enough red wine to keep quiet as the Abbotts at the table did their best to ‘Harrison-proof’ their snark inter-family snide remarks.
Man Child Entitled Kyle Finds Out Glissade is Awesome Again
When Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) learns that his father Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) acquired all of the Glissade divisions from Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) for pennies on the dollar & there’s a solo CEO position open, yet again the Co-CEO position at Jabot that he was just offered yet again & accepted again will make him sad & mad again.
Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) & Jack Abbott initially played pretend to teach their entitled man child Kyle a lesson & to get him a new toy, Glissade, to make him feel better. Once Kyle gets up to speed on what has been going on inside Jack & Diane’s land of make-believe, he will be mad & sad that they acquired Glissade behind his back as a shiny new toy for Diane.
Ashley’s Out, Claire’s In, & Billy Boy Brainstorms on Y&R
The Abbott table will not include the same cast of characters this Christmas as it did this past Thanksgiving. Let’s start with Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson). Young & the Restless fans & most residents of Genoa City knew Ashley has been tolerating Diane Jenkins at best. When Jack & Diane were still in their mode of pretending their marriage had failed, Ashley mentioned out loud that she was pleased & looking forward to not having Diane around the Abbott house. Well, Diane isn’t going anywhere else to live, but where she’ll be working is up in the air. Kyle has accepted yet again to be Co-CEO at Jabot with his dad Jack Abbott, which leaves Glissade without leadership since The Mustache signed it over to Diane & Jack undercover-acquired Glissade’s guts for pennies on the dollar.
Like Ashley Abbott, her brother Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) doesn’t much care for Diane personally or professionally either. Glissade will continue to be the new shiny toy at the Abbott Estate for time to come with Ashley &/or Billy Boy doing everything in their power to keep it from Diane. As for Claire Grace now Newman (Hayley Erin), she’ll no doubt fill Ashley’s chair at the Abbott table for Christmas alongside the man who takes her virginity & may or may not knock her up before the holidays.
