At the Spectator office, Xander is mourning Victor’s death when Brady comes in, expecting to confront Xander about his attempt to kiss Chloe. However, Brady is surprised to learn that Xander didn’t know about the kiss and is even more shocked when Xander punches him for it. But, once the moment has passed, they make it clear that their enmity is still very much alive.

Over at the Salem PD, Belle shares the sad news of Victor’s death with Shawn, who is overwhelmed by regret about his contentious relationship with Victor. Shawn reflects on their many clashes over the years and wonders if things could have been different. Belle tries to offer comfort by telling him that Victor knew Shawn loved him, but Shawn is inconsolable. In his grief, Shawn ends up at a bar, drowning his sorrows.

In an unexpected twist, Kate almost reveals that Phillip is still alive, but changes her mind. After Chloe departs, Kate contacts Philip to inform him of his father’s passing.

Meanwhile, at the Kiriakis mansion, Justin is staring at a photo of him and Victor when he decides to call Sonny and break the news to him. Bonnie walks in at the end of his call and reminds him that he doesn’t have to be strong for her. She holds him as he breaks down, mourning Victor’s death.

Maggie, lying in bed, is joined by Julie, who offers a comforting embrace. They reminisce about Maggie’s life with Mickey and Victor, recalling old times and shared memories. Julie fondly recalls when Maggie saved her from a fire, expressing gratitude for their friendship.
