One Life to Live Actor Forbes March Arrested for Stealing Used Cooking Oil

Actor Forbes March, who is best known for his role as Nash Brennan on the soap opera One Life to Live, was arrested in Hudson County, New York, on March 2 for stealing used cooking oil from a local restaurant. According to reports, March and another individual, Oscar Guardado, were charged with grand larceny by the Ulster Police Department.

March and Guardado were caught siphoning used cooking oil from a storage container behind Michael’s Diner, which is owned by Buffalo Biodiesel. The stolen oil had an estimated value of over $1,000. Theft of used cooking oil has become more common in recent years due to its ability to be converted into biodiesel, a renewable alternative to petroleum diesel. Used cooking oil can also be used in a variety of other products, such as soaps, shampoos, and detergents.

March’s character Nash Brennan on One Life to Live was a fan favorite during his time on the show from 2005 to 2008. His pairing with Bree Williamson’s Jessica made them one of the most popular couples on the show. Before his time on One Life to Live, March played Scott Chandler on All My Children from 1998 to 2000. After One Life to Live, he briefly appeared on As the World Turns as Mason Jarvis in 2009.

In 2010, March made a few appearances on Degrassi: The Next Generation before retiring from acting and starting his own wood supplier company, New York Firewood Company, based in the Catskill Mountains.

Both March and Guardado were charged with grand larceny in the fourth degree and are set to appear in Ulster Town Court in the near future, according to the Ulster Police Department’s Facebook post.
