GEORGE O’HALLORAN’S MISSING LAPTOP COULD SINK EJ DIMERA

TL;DR: Days of Our Lives spoilers: George O’Halloran told EJ his missing laptop holds Destiny’s forged records and more. EJ says George goes down alone, and Steve is on his trail.

Destiny’s Forgery Is on the Laptop, and the Laptop Is Gone

George O’Halloran lost his job, his key card and his laptop on Monday, October 19. Then he told EJ DiMera exactly what is on that laptop. The forgery of Destiny’s medical records, George said, is only the start of the illegal work sitting on it. EJ did not offer to help. He told George he was acting on his own, and that if anyone goes down, it is George and George alone.

That one scene turns this week’s Days of Our Lives spoilers into a race for a computer nobody can find. Destiny was Sarah’s patient at the free clinic and died in June. Her parents’ wrongful death case names the hospital and Sarah herself. If the records behind it were forged, that case starts to look very different.

EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel), who told the man Johnny just fired, George O'Halloran, he goes down alone over the missing laptop, in Days of Our Lives spoilers for October 2026

Johnny DiMera Fires George O’Halloran and the Laptop Vanishes

Johnny DiMera did the firing himself. He told George the days of secrecy and cover-ups at DiMera were over, took his key card and had him walked out of the building. Steve Johnson came by to back him up. Steve praised Johnny for trying to make things right in the lawsuit against Sarah Horton, and they agreed the proof they need lives on George’s personal laptop.

Johnny figured it was still in the lab, since George did not have it with him during their fight. Johnny still has lab access, and George no longer does. When Johnny checked, the laptop was gone. Nobody on screen has said who took it.

So Steve went to work. He called Kayla Johnson to say he would not be home that night, because he was staking out George. A desperate man, Steve figured, would lead them straight to it.

Will George O’Halloran Turn on EJ DiMera?

No preview says he does, and none says he goes to the police, cuts a deal or gets arrested. But George has warned about this before. As our daily recaps covered on September 9, he told Johnny he refused to take the fall alone and would bring future problems to Johnny because EJ had become too erratic. On September 23, alone with EJ at the mansion, he explained how he and Rita were setting Sarah up, and EJ said that if it fell apart, George would take the fall.

On Monday, EJ made it official. He blasted George for his carelessness and claimed his own hands were clean, the same day he turned in his hospital credentials to Kayla. Here is what EJ forgot: George told him the laptop holds a record of all their crimes, not George’s alone. George O’Halloran is not a fall guy with a file like that. He is a witness waiting for a better offer.

One more thing to clear up. A spoiler line making the rounds has Steve getting troubling news from Johnny this Thursday. That beat already aired on October 9, when Johnny told Steve that EJ blames Kristen for what Sophia did. Thursday’s real tease is only that Steve’s investigation takes a shocking turn, and not one preview says what he finds.

George O'Halloran (Michael Rose) draws a gun over his missing laptop as Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) tends to her ex Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) in Days of Our Lives spoilers for October 2026

Steve Closes In as George Packs to Run

One preview photo has Steve hiding with a telephoto lens, and another preview says he is photographing George up to no good. The previews also have Steve discovering George has packed his bags to leave Salem. No preview names the place or the day. Then comes the scene everyone is bracing for. George finds Sarah and her ex, Xander Kiriakis, in his lab, and when Sarah will not put the laptop down, he pulls a gun.

Friday, October 23 promises danger for Sarah and Xander, and Johnny calls 911. The wider spoiler slate does not tie those two beats to the gun, and nobody says a shot is fired. We broke down what the promo shows in George’s standoff with Sarah and Xander.

Reading between the lines, George is not only packing to run from Steve. He is packing because EJ just cut him loose, and a man leaving town wants his insurance with him. If I know these writers, that laptop is the insurance. Could George O’Halloran trade it for his own freedom before EJ gets to him first?

Rat or loyal soldier: what does George do next? Tell us your pick in the comments.

EJ Picked the Wrong Man to Leave Holding the Bag

Our take: EJ made a mistake on Monday. You do not tell a man with a file on all your crimes that he goes down alone, then let him walk out of your house. My gut tells me George finds his way to Johnny or Steve before this is over, and the laptop is his ticket.

Sarah has the most to gain if that computer surfaces and the least control over where it goes. Is George a rat waiting to happen or EJ’s last loyal soldier? Pick a side and tell us on our Facebook page.
