JOSSLYN JACKS TOLD SONNY TO BRING IT ON, AND HE JUST SENT RIC AFTER THE ONE MAN SHE TRUSTS

TL;DR: Josslyn Jacks took Sonny’s piers with Jax’s company and told him to bring it on. On Thursday, October 15, she has to defend herself while Sonny and Ric plot, and Sonny’s target is Hudson, the VP who has been working against her since August.

Josslyn Took the Piers and Told Sonny to Bring It On

These General Hospital spoilers start on the waterfront, where on Monday, October 12, Jasper Jacks Enterprises won the piers at the auction of Sidwell’s assets, with Hudson placing the bid for Josslyn Jacks. Ric Lansing, who had placed the anonymous bid for Sonny Corinthos, learned Hudson works for her and was floored. On Tuesday, Sonny offered to match her price and asked her to do the right thing, but she said JJE will build something productive down there and told him, “Bring it on.”

Then she popped the champagne with Hudson, one of Jax’s favorites, and he toasted the “one-woman army” who will leave Corinthos in the rubble. On Thursday, October 15, Josslyn defends herself while Sonny and Ric plot. My gut tells me this war is about to cost her more than it costs him.

Is Josslyn a hero for taking on Sonny, or a daughter spending her father’s fortune on a grudge? Write to the editor at amber@soapoperamagazine.com and tell us.

Sonny Isn’t Coming for Josslyn. He’s Coming for Hudson.

Here’s the part nobody is talking about. Back at his house on Tuesday, Sonny told Ric he will always love the girl he helped raise, but he won’t let her destroy him. Rather than go at Josslyn Jacks head on, he named Hudson as the key to stopping her and asked Ric to find out who Hudson really is. That’s the homework Sonny and his half-brother bring to Thursday.

And Hudson has secrets worth finding. On August 24, the day Josslyn accepted the CEO job, he phoned an unseen partner and said her taking it would “screw up our plans,” and that he’d make her change her mind. On September 14, he told someone, “I did what you suggested.” When Josslyn first pitched turning JJE on Sonny, Hudson said Jax wouldn’t want it, then called the plan smart. Now he’s the loudest voice in her corner.

Will Josslyn’s Revenge on Sonny Backfire on General Hospital?

It could, and the trap isn’t Sonny. If Ric finds Hudson’s partner, the man Josslyn Jacks is trying to bankrupt will know her right hand is working against her before she does. She told Sonny to bring it on, and he may end up holding the one secret that could save her company.

The rest of the record isn’t kinder. Viewers know Ava Jerome and Drew Cain framed Sonny for the Pentonville attack, and on Tuesday the two of them agreed Josslyn might bring Sonny down for them. Her own bureau told her to audit JJE and leave Sonny alone, and Carly Spencer told Valentin Cassadine her daughter bought the piers to take Sonny down, which Valentin calls an overreach. So who hears Josslyn’s defense on Thursday? Spoilers don’t say, and her mother, the bureau and Sonny himself are all in line.

Joe Questions Willow, Chase Weighs His Future and Monet Advises Curtis

Thursday’s other headlines run hot, too. Joe Fitzpatrick questions Willow Cain about a scene at her home that struck him as strange months ago. Back in June, Joe stood in Drew’s room in that house while Drew, unable to speak, answered him by blinking. Now Lulu Spencer has printed that Willow kept Drew drugged, and Willow is suing her for libel.

Harrison Chase, who pushed that lawsuit, ponders his future, with an offer from Monet Mitchell to skip the separation from Brook Lynn Quartermaine and file for divorce. Monet also advises Curtis Ashford, whose family hopes he can move to lower-security Spring Ridge. We still have questions about what Monet is really after.

Sonny Only Needs to Know Something She Doesn’t

Here’s my prediction. Sonny doesn’t have to beat Josslyn Jacks on the waterfront. He only has to know something about Hudson that she doesn’t, and Ric is very good at finding things out. Don’t be surprised if the next round is fought over what’s in that file, and if Josslyn hears the truth about her VP from the last man she’d ever take help from.

That would be the cruelest kind of backfire for a woman spending Jax’s money on a war he never signed off on. Follow every move on our two weeks of General Hospital spoilers and our October 12 to 16 preview.

Should Sonny warn Josslyn about Hudson if Ric finds the dirt, or let her learn it the hard way? Leave your answer in the comments right here on this page.

Josslyn’s Real Enemy May Be Sitting Beside Her, Not Across the Table

Our money says Sonny loses a few more rounds on the docks and wins the war in a filing cabinet. Hudson wanted Josslyn out of that chair the day she said yes to it, and the girl Sonny helped raise is about to find out who was watching her back.

Team Josslyn says she takes the waterfront and never looks back. Team Sonny says he ends up saving her from her own VP. Pick a side on our Facebook page.
