The Young and the Restless
Y&R’s Unholy Trinity Rises as Claire Newman, Aunt Jordan, and Matt Clark Plot Total Newman Destruction
Claire Newman, Aunt Jordan, and Matt Clark form Y&R’s most dangerous trio yet. The Newman family doesn’t stand a chance against them.
AUNT JORDAN CRAWLS FROM THE GRAVE AND CLAIRE NEWMAN IS READY TO FINISH WHAT THEY STARTED
TL;DR: Matt Clark is back and Aunt Jordan definitely isn’t dead on Young and the Restless. Claire Newman is likely still working with her crazy aunt, and together this team from hell is about to take down the Newman family.
The Newmans Will Fall for Anything
Matt Clark is back and doesn’t have any plans to go anywhere, despite being tied up inside the trunk of Nick Newman’s car. Note to Nick, if someone can come back from the dead, they can absolutely get out of the trunk of a car.
You know who else isn’t dead? That Aunt Jordan woman, as Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) used to call her.
The Newman family will fall for anything. Let’s face it, Young and the Restless fans, Claire Grace turning Newman was just too easy. There is SO much to unpack here, especially with Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) alive again in Genoa City.

Claire Grace Tried to Kill and Three Days of Therapy Wasn’t Enough
How did this happen? Aren’t the Newmans supposed to be intelligent? First of all, is Claire Grace now Newman(Hayley Erin) even Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and the late Cole Howard’s (J. Eddie Peck) daughter? Cole seriously grabbed some hair from a random hairbrush to submit for DNA testing. This hair could have easily been Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) hair. Again, this wasn’t a paternity test; this was a DNA test.
Claire is SO totally still working with Aunt Jordan (Colleen Zenk), who isn’t really dead, by the way. She’s a manipulative little thing. Supposedly, just a few days of inpatient therapy made Claire better. Again, how?? Make the Newmans make sense!
Matt Clark Has Friends in Low Places, but Not Six Feet Under
Genoa City residents are going to have to learn at some point that just because someone is declared dead, they may not actually be dead. Unless that dead body is super dead, in a casket, and the funeral home staff has been observed cranking the casket down six feet in the ground, that supposed person may resurrect sooner or later in Genoa City on Young and the Restless.
Aunt Jordan isn’t dead. Claire Newman most likely isn’t a Newman. Now add in Matt Clark and his matching Newman vendetta, and now we have a team from hell to take down this family that hasn’t been seen before on Y&R.
Claire laid low on Y&R this week and reprised her Holly Hobbie fashion style from early on when she arrived in Genoa City. She knows exactly what she is doing.
Young and the Restless is FINALLY about to get interesting again. Watch out, Newmans!
Do YOU think Claire Newman is still secretly working with Aunt Jordan? Sound off in the comments!
