Cole’s Funeral & a Wedding, To Be Hosted by Cane Ashby/Dumas
Cole Howard’s funeral is on hold until the Newmans in France return to Genoa City, among others, such as Michael Baldwin. Danny & Cricket are about to say ‘I do’ again on Young & the Restless & will need a venue to do so. So, how will these events shake out & be held in Genoa City since Cane Ashby/Dumas has bought up almost all of the town on Young & the Restless?
When the Funeral Home Director Comes to Your House…
Sets but not sex have been limited on Young & the Restless. No, Y&R fans do not expect a funeral home consultation set up to be at set on Young & the Restless, but with many other details & happenings on Young & the Restless happening behind the scenes & unseen by soap opera fans, why not the funeral director meeting with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) & Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) after the passing of Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck)?
The bigger question is, where will Cole Howard’s memorial service be held in Genoa City? It’s been confirmed that he will be cremated, but where will his service be held? Victoria Newman, normally a powerhouse businesswoman & a leading lady about town in Genoa City, is so out of the loop right now. She has no idea that many condo buildings, the GCAC & almost everything else surrounding Newman Tower have been bought up by Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn). At this point, Victoria can hardly remember who Cane Ashby even is. Will this man who Victoria’s daughter Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) who she’s never met, be calling the shots on her long-lost father, Cole Howard?
Wedding Bells for Danny & Cricket in Genoa City
It’s been 35 years in the making… Take 2 for Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) & Christine Blair/Cricket/The Bug (Lauralee Bell) to be married.
They just got back into Genoa City after being on tour & have not yet been brought up to speed on the latest real estate transactions in town. Regardless if Danny & The Bug seek out a place to live or a wedding venue first, Cane Ashby will the one naming the price & will be in control. That’s unless they can persuade The Almighty Victor Newman to hold their Take 2 wedding at the new Newman Ranch, or if Smilin’ Jack Abbott offers up the newly renovated Abbott Estate.
Even if rockstar Danny Romalotti wants to be romantic & have their wedding inside the Neil Winters Jazz Lounge downstairs at the GCAC, Cane Ashby will be running the show.
