Y&R Spoilers: Lily Winters’ “Spa Time” Excuse Falls Apart as Devon Hamilton Panics
Devon Hamilton and Nate Hastings realize Lily Winters has been unreachable for weeks on Y&R’s Feb 20 episode. Was Victor Newman behind her disappearance? The Winters family panic begins now.

Y&R’s Friday Spoilers Reveal a Devastating Discovery About Lily Winters
DEVON HAMILTON AND NATE HASTINGS FINALLY PANIC OVER LILY WINTERS’ WEEKS-LONG SILENCE
TL;DR: On Friday’s Young and the Restless, Devon and Nate realize they haven’t heard from Lily in weeks — and the “spa time” excuse just fell apart. Victor Newman insists Lily is “in on” his plan with the twins, but Nikki is terrified he’s crossed a line. The Winters family missing person spiral just kicked into overdrive.
The Moment Devon Stopped Pretending Everything Was Fine
It took way too long. That is the only honest way to say it. On Friday’s episode of Young and the Restless, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) sat down with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and dropped the line that fans have been screaming about for weeks. He hasn’t heard from his sister. Not a text. Not a call. Not a single word. And the excuse that Lily Winters was off enjoying “spa time” suddenly sounded about as believable as a soap character staying dead.
The realization hit Devon like a freight train. After everything he just survived with Dominic’s kidnapping — the sleepless nights, the frantic searching in Albuquerque, the absolute terror of that ordeal — he looked across the table at Nate and admitted his own sister had gone completely silent. For weeks. And he missed it.
That is the part that cuts deep. Devon is supposed to be the protector. The guy who would scorch the earth for his family without thinking twice. And somehow, Lily vanished right under his nose while he was putting out every other fire in Genoa City.

Does Victor Newman Have Lily Winters?
According to Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) himself? Yes. Victor has been telling Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) that Lily voluntarily went off the grid with twins Charlie and Mattie as part of his leverage play against Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn). He swears she’s cooperating. He swears she’s safe.
But Nikki isn’t buying a word of it. She confronted Victor about “snatching Lily” and the twins weeks ago, demanded proof they’re okay, and got nothing back but vague reassurances and that classic Newman stare. If Lily is really a willing participant in all of this, why can’t her own brother get a text back? Why has Cane been in full panic mode because she won’t return a single call?
Something doesn’t add up. And Devon finally knows it.
The Winters Brothers Were the Last to Know
Here’s what makes this even more painful. Cane has been frantic for weeks. Nick Newman, Victoria Newman, and Adam Newman were all discussing “the Lily and Victor situation” back on February 9th. Nikki was already terrified Victor had crossed a line nobody comes back from. Even Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) got recruited by Cane to help bring Lily Winters and the kids home.
Meanwhile Devon and Nate were dealing with the Dominic crisis and assumed their sister was relaxing somewhere with a mud mask and a glass of wine. Classic soap logic? Absolutely. But it also sets the stage for the kind of guilt-fueled explosion that rewrites family dynamics for good. When Devon realizes just how many people knew before he did, that anger is going to need somewhere to go. And it won’t be pretty.
What’s Next for the Winters Family?
Friday’s episode ended with a tease that changes the entire game. Devon and Nate told Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) they might have a lead on what happened to Lily and they want to chase it down. Abby — who just lived through her own nightmare with Dominic’s kidnapping — told them to do whatever it takes to keep the family safe.
And Abby is caught in the worst possible position. Victor is her father. Devon is her partner. If it turns out Victor is responsible for Lily Winters disappearing, that bomb goes off right in Abby’s living room. There is no version of this where she doesn’t get caught in the blast.
Could this mean a full-blown search mission is about to launch? Don’t be surprised if the Winters brothers go scorched-earth on everyone who stood between them and the truth. And with Entertainment Weekly confirming Shemar Moore returns as Malcolm Winters in April 2026, the Winters family is about to get serious reinforcements. Given Malcolm’s history as Lily’s biological father, his arrival while his daughter is missing could turn a family crisis into an all-out war.
The “spa time” lie is dead. The panic is real. And somebody in Genoa City is going to answer for it.
