The Young and the Restless
EXCLUSIVE FRIDAY CANADIAN Y&R DAY-AHEAD SPOILERS: Phyllis Vows to Never Forgive Daniel After Cane Recruits Him for a Dangerous Mission
Cane Ashby recruits Daniel Romalotti to save Lily on Feb 20’s Y&R. Devon and Nate fear Lily has vanished, Abby confronts Mariah’s lawyer, and Phyllis vows revenge on her own son.

DANIEL ROMALOTTI ANSWERS CANE ASHBY’S DESPERATE CALL AS GENOA CITY FAMILIES SHATTER UNDER PRESSURE
TL;DR: On Friday’s Canadian day-ahead of The Young and the Restless, the prior episode confirms Cane Ashby recruited Daniel Romalotti to save Lily Winters, Devon Winters and Nate Hastings grow suspicious about Lily’s weeks-long disappearance, Abby Newman confronts Christine Blair after Mariah Copeland approaches Dominic in public, and Nick Newman‘s pain pill behavior alarms Sharon Newman while Phyllis Summers‘s explosive vow to never forgive her son looms ahead.
Cane Ashby’s Desperate Gambit Ignites a Family War
The prior episode dropped a bombshell still reverberating across Genoa City. Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) begged Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) to help him save Lily Winters (Christel Khalil). That desperate plea came right after Cane forgave Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Claire dumped Holden. But the real gut punch? Next week, Phyllis looks her son dead in the eye and declares she will NEVER forgive him. A mother cutting off her own child because Daniel Romalotti apparently chose Cane over the empire she fought to build. This is going to get ugly.
Devon and Nate Sound the Alarm on Lily Winters
At Society, Devon Winters (Bryton James) catches up with cousin Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and the conversation starts with relief before spiraling into dread. Devon says little Dominic seems fine and untraumatized after everything Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) put the family through.
The bad news? They haven’t heard from Lily in weeks. They thought she was at a spa, but the silence has stretched way too long. Devon already feels the system failed his son. He believes Mariah played mind games with Dom and planned to take him to Mexico. He doubts the judge understood the full picture when releasing her so quickly. Now add a missing sister to that pile of worry and this man is nearing a breaking point.
Next week’s preview confirms the worst. Devon and Nate tell Abby they may have a lead on what happened to Lily, and Abby gives them the green light to do whatever it takes.
Abby Newman Draws a Hard Line Against Mariah
Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) walks into the most emotionally charged scene of the episode when she brings Dom to the Chancellor Park cafe — right where Mariah is meeting her attorney, Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell). Christine is already frustrated. Mariah went behind her back to apologize to Devon and Abby, undercutting the entire defense strategy. The trial is set for next month and every unsanctioned move could blow the case wide open.
Then Dom runs straight to Mariah. Calls her his “hide and seek” friend. Mariah drops to her knees and apologizes for keeping him from his parents.
Abby shuts it down cold. She sends Dom to a table, turns on Christine, and demands to know why her client is out in public near unsuspecting children. The message is crystal clear — she does not believe Mariah is safe to be around. Period.

Nick Newman’s Pill Behavior Raises Alarming Red Flags
At Crimson Lights, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) is happy to run into Noah Newman (Lucas Adams). The family discusses Nick Newman‘s (Joshua Morrow) condition and the fact that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is not responding to anyone. Then Nick strolls in acting suddenly fine. Claims he found one of his pain pills.
Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) is not buying it. His voice is off. He’s twitching. They suggest a nap and he refuses flat out. After Nick leaves, Sharon tells Noah something doesn’t add up. He was not acting like a man who just took one pill. This has all the makings of a dependency spiral hitting the Newman family at the worst possible time.
Victoria Newman Plots to Weaponize Summer
At the Newman Ranch, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), and Chelsea Lawson Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) are panicking over Victor vanishing. Victoria announces plans for Phyllis and Billy — she is going after who they love. The specific target? Summer Newman. “Just watch me,” she tells Nikki when doubts are raised.
Adam, meanwhile, is privately spiraling about a deal connected to Lily and who will pay when the truth surfaces.
What’s Next for Daniel Romalotti and Genoa City?
Could this mean Victor‘s silence is directly tied to Lily‘s disappearance? Don’t be surprised if Devon and Nate‘s lead pulls them straight into the crossfire of the Newman-Ashby war. Daniel Romalotti‘s choice to help Cane may be the match that burns every bridge Phyllis has left. And the fallout between mother and son? Reading between the lines, that damage looks permanent.
Next week also brings terrifying news. Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) is free and has vanished after his release. Nick immediately fears Matt Clark could be anywhere — including the ranch. Between disappearing power players, a missing Lily, a fractured Summers family, and a growing pill crisis, Genoa City is a powder keg. Daniel Romalotti made his choice. Now everyone pays the price.

@soapoperamag Victoria making unilateral… decisions about the kids without even a conversation with Billy is BOLD. Nate clocked it immediately — is this about protecting them or punishing their father? Because it's giving revenge disguised as parenting. #YR ♬ original sound – Soap Opera Magazine
