JACK ABBOTT WANTS VICTOR NEWMAN TO LOSE NIKKI AND PATTY WILLIAMS IS HIS WEAPON

TL;DR: Jack Abbott vows to make Victor Newman lose the love of his life on Young and the Restless spoilers for the week of May 18, and he is using Patty Williams to do it. Phyllis Summers offers Matt Clark in trade for her freedom, Nick Newman spirals deeper into addiction, Lily Winters and Holden Novak land in New York, and Jack makes a decision that nobody walks away from.

This Week in Genoa City

Jack Abbott has decided that the only way to bring Victor Newman to his knees is to take Nikki Newman away from him, and he is using Patty Williams to do it.

Phyllis Summers has Matt Clark stashed in a suite at the Club and is offering him up to Victor in exchange for her freedom, Nick Newman is still pacing around with a pill in his pocket and murder on his mind, and Lily Winters is heading to New York with Holden Novak for Malcolm’s transplant. By Friday, Jack will make a decision that nobody around him is going to be able to salvage. Genoa City has not had a week like this in a long, long time.

Monday, May 18

Victor Newman questions Nick’s judgment, which is a delicate way of saying Victor is finally putting two and two together about his son’s addiction and his obsession with personally ending Matt Clark.

Adam Newman and Chelsea Lawson strategize against a rival, and given how often Chelsea has been pushing Adam to admit he is hooked on the adrenaline of his old life, this is the couple closing ranks before the next round of trouble lands on their doorstep.

Sharon Newman hands Phyllis Summers unsolicited advice, which is a sentence we did not have on our bingo card and which absolutely guarantees a scene worth watching.

Tuesday, May 19

Devon Hamilton and Mariah Copeland discuss forgiveness, and after months of Devon refusing to even look at Mariah Copeland over the trauma she put his family through with Dominic, this is the conversation that could either heal the rift or blow it wide open all over again.

Daniel Romalotti tries to broker a truce between Phyllis Summers and Christine Blair, and good luck to him, because Phyllis just threatened to drag Cricket through the press for being in Victor’s pocket.

Patty Williams helps Matt Clark navigate Genoa City, which means the most dangerous man in town now has the most unhinged woman in town as his personal tour guide. What could possibly go wrong.

Wednesday, May 20

Victor Newman orders Michael Baldwin to strike back against a rival, and the rival is obviously Phyllis Summers, who has been openly daring Victor to come after her for weeks.

Victoria Newman confronts Nick about his recovery, which is the kind of conversation that ends in tears no matter how much love is in the room.

Sally Spectra worries about Billy Abbott‘s past catching up with him, and given that Sally is pregnant and Billy is technically still implicated in Phyllis Summers’ AI email mess, her worry is not paranoia. It is math.

Thursday, May 21

Victor Newman and Nikki Newman put their differences aside to help Nick, and the fact that the couple who cannot agree on anything are willing to sit in the same room for their son tells you exactly how scared they are.

Lily Winters and Holden Novak arrive in New York for Malcolm’s transplant, and the trip is going to test every single one of Lily’s feelings about Holden Novak being family now.

Jack Abbott has a change of heart about Patty Williams, which is the moment everyone has been waiting for. The question is whether the change of heart comes too late or just in time.

Friday, May 22

Nikki Newman stands her ground, and at this point in the marriage, Victor Newman should know that when Nikki digs her heels in, she does not move. Whatever he is asking her to forgive this week, she is not budging.

Holden Novak and Claire Newman‘s trip takes an unexpected turn, which is exactly the kind of cliffhanger we expect from a Friday but absolutely dread when there is an actual transplant on the line.

And then there is Jack Abbott, who makes a bad decision. The kind of bad decision that gets people hurt, ends marriages, and rewrites the entire summer storyline in one episode. Buckle up.

Jack Abbott is about to make a decision that could blow up his marriage, his family, and his entire revenge plot. Do you think he goes through with using Patty against Nikki, or does his conscience finally win? Sound off below!
