Sienna Bacall is at Sharon’s house insisting she killed him while remembering exactly nothing. We called it all week. The man is breathing. Genoa City should be panicking. Meanwhile Nick Newman finally came clean to Victor Newman about the fentanyl, Phyllis Summers walked out on Michael Baldwin, and Victoria Newman handed Christine Blair evidence that could put the father of her children in prison.

Matt Clark Is Alive and We Said This All Week

Sit down. We told you. We told you Wednesday. We told you Thursday. We told you the woman drenched in blood with no body, no witnesses, and no memory was telling a story that did not hold up to a single second of scrutiny. Friday’s final shot confirmed every suspicion we have had since Matt Clark supposedly went down. The man woke up on the ground in the Las Vegas desert with blood on his head and a heartbeat we are absolutely thrilled to see.

The Newman family spent Friday talking about Matt like a closed file. Nick told Victor there was no confirmation. Sharon said he had not turned up dead. Sienna Bacall sat in Sharon’s living room and screamed through tears that he was definitely dead, definitely on the ground, definitely not breathing. Sienna remembers his eyes being on fire. Sienna remembers him being calm and almost proud. Sienna remembers him being on the ground.

Sienna does not remember the part where she actually killed him. Because she did not. We have been saying this for three days. The Las Vegas Y&R writers room is welcome.

Nick Newman Finally Told the Truth and Victor Newman Said “Oh My”

Nick Newman walked into the Newman Ranch with Adam Newman and finally told Victor Newman the whole story. The fentanyl. The pain meds. The bag of pills Matt handed him in LA. The fact that he took them on purpose. Adam tried to soften it. Nick refused to let him.

Victor stood up. The Mustache stood up. He said “oh my” and the Earth tilted on its axis. The golden boy of Genoa City confessing to his father that he is a fentanyl addict was always going to be a moment, but Victor’s response was the kind of soft this man has rarely shown. He hugged his son. He told him he would not bring it up again. He believed him.

The truly entertaining part of that scene was Nick and Adam both clocking the Phyllis evidence as too convenient. Nick called Billy Abbott “dumb as a box of rocks” and openly questioned how Billy would leave a paper trail. Adam agreed. The Newman boys are smarter than their father is giving them credit for, and Victor’s “I do not care if it is real” energy is going to bite him sooner than he thinks.

Phyllis Summers Walked Out on Michael Baldwin and the Woman Was Not Wrong

Over at the GCAC, Phyllis Summers and Lauren Fenmore sat down with Michael Baldwin for what was supposed to be a strategy session. Phyllis brought a list of new hires. Phyllis brought energy. Phyllis brought receipts. Michael brought a defeatist attitude and a recommendation that Phyllis cut a deal with Victor.

Phyllis snapped. Lauren snapped. Both women asked Michael whose camp he was in. Michael claimed he was trying to do the right thing for everyone. Translation. Michael is trying to keep Victor satisfied, his marriage intact, and his client out of prison all at the same time and one of those things is about to give.

Phyllis handed Lauren a list of replacement lawyers. Michael laughed at the list, pointing out most of them were either indicted or already on Victor’s payroll. Phyllis declared the worst lawyer on that list was still better than him and walked out. Lauren turned to her husband and told him he had better come up with something to say to Phyllis, because this looked like a man trying to stay on Victor Newman’s right side.

Michael did not have an answer. Lauren noticed.

Victoria Newman Just Handed the Father of Her Children to the New DA

Over at Crimson Lights, Victoria Newman handed Christine Blair the package of fake emails and made her case. Phyllis stole from Chancellor. Phyllis hacked the company. Case closed.

Christine read the room and dropped the bomb Victoria was not ready for. The evidence implicates Billy Abbott too. The father of Victoria’s children could go to prison if this goes the way Victor wants it to go.

Victoria did not blink. Victoria said the chips will fall where they may. Victoria sent Billy Abbott to a possible prison sentence and walked out of Crimson Lights like a woman who had not just thrown the father of her children under the bus on her way to lunch. Cricket warned her this could get big and ugly. Victoria did not care.

Three storylines. One desert. One bloody resurrection nobody but us saw coming. One fentanyl confession. One bad lawyer. One ex-wife handing the father of her children to the new DA on a silver platter. Genoa City has never been quieter and never been louder at the same time.
