Not all Young & the Restless fans are convinced that Heather Stevens is really dead. There are other Y&R fans who think she is dead but Sharon didn’t do it. Regardless, if Heather is dead Sharon Newman is going to need a prime defense lawyer. Since her last name is again Newman, she qualifies to use the Newman family attorney, Michael Baldwin. That leaves Christine Blair to represent the presumed dead Heather Stevens. Guess who wins…

Sharon Reverts Back to Newman, The Gift That Keeps on Giving

After Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) lost her husband Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) in a tragic car accident her last name went from Rosalas back to Newman in a flash. Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) isn’t a Newman & has a child with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow). Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) isn’t a Newman & has a child with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). What gives on Young & the Restless?

Anyway, with Sharon again under the Newman family umbrella, she will be able to use Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) as her lawyer. Young & the Restless fans know full well that Michael Baldwin colors outside the lines, doesn’t mind hanging out in the gray area, &/or will do whatever Victor Newman says whenever he says it. As long as Dead Cameron (Linden Ashby) stays around long enough to guarantee an insanity plea, Sharon Newman will be just fine. Cricket, however, will cry.

Danny Romalotti’s Girlfriend to the Rescue… Nope!

There is no way Danny Romalotti’s (Michael Damian) reboot girlfriend Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) will be able to beat Micahel Baldwin in the upcoming case against Sharon Newman. To start with, Young & the Restless sets do not include a courtroom at this time & haven’t for a while. Without a courtroom, Young & the Restless is missing yet another opportunity for classic soap opera drama. In addition, Cricket couldn’t even properly prosecute Phyllis after she faked her death & killed a man. The presumed dead attorney Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) & her client Phyllis worked that judge like everyone’s least favorite bug has ever seen. Christine Blair has never colored outside the lines & has never heard of the gray area. Michael Baldwin, however, gets stuff done.
