NIKKI NEWMAN WHISPERS SECRETS TO JACK ABBOTT WHILE VICTOR RAGES

TL;DR: Nikki Newman shares a secret with Jack Abbott, because apparently Genoa City has zero secure locations for private conversations. Meanwhile, Victor rewards Michael’s loyalty and Claire stands by her actions on Tuesday’s Young and the Restless.

Nikki and Jack Are at It Again

Oh, Young and the Restless, you predictable, beautiful disaster. Tuesday’s episode brings us the time-honored tradition of Nikki Newman and Jack Abbott having yet another heart-to-heart while Victor’s blood pressure skyrockets somewhere in the background.

According to spoilers, Nikki shares a secret with Jack. Now, we don’t know exactly what this secret is, but knowing these two, it’s probably being shared at Society because that’s the only restaurant in Genoa City that exists. Seriously, someone needs to open a Chili’s or something. The entire town’s drama unfolds at the same four tables while bartenders who deserve hazard pay pretend not to listen.

What Is Nikki Telling Jack?

What could Nikki Newman possibly be whispering to her favorite Abbott? Is it about Victor’s AI program that he’s been using to destroy companies like some kind of geriatric tech villain? Is it about her recent ultimatum where she threatened to leave Victor if he didn’t stop attacking Jabot? Whatever it is, you can bet your bottom dollar that Victor will find out and throw a glass of brandy into the fireplace while muttering about Jack in that threatening way only Eric Braeden can deliver.

The show knows exactly what it’s doing by putting Nikki Newman and Jack in a scene together. Every time these two share screen time, fans split into camps: those who think they belong together and those who think Victor would literally never recover. Either way, it’s compelling television, even if we’ve seen this exact dance approximately nine thousand times.

Victor Rewards Michael’s Loyalty

Speaking of our favorite mustached menace, Victor is rewarding Michael Baldwin’s loyalty on Tuesday. This is soap opera code for “Victor is about to ask Michael to do something ethically questionable and is buttering him up first.” Michael has been Victor’s loyal attorney and fixer for years now, which means the man has seen things. Terrible things. Things that would make lesser lawyers flee to a nice quiet practice in Peoria.

But Michael sticks around because, well, Victor Newman pays generously, and Lauren Fenmore’s shopping habits aren’t going to fund themselves. Whatever reward Victor is offering, we can only assume it comes with strings attached, a morally gray task, and the unspoken promise that Victor will absolutely throw him under the bus the moment it becomes convenient.

Claire Newman Stands Her Ground

Rounding out Tuesday’s spoilers, Claire Newman stands by her actions. This is refreshing for a character who spent her introduction to Genoa City as Jordan’s brainwashed pawn trying to take down the Newman family. Claire has come a long way from “kidnapping grandma at the lake house” to “having opinions at family dinners,” and honestly? Good for her.

The real question is which actions Claire is defending. Is it her growing friendship with Kyle? Her attempts to remain neutral in the Abbott versus Newman war that has been raging since before she was born? Or perhaps her decision to have lunch with Holden, which sent Kyle into a jealous spiral faster than you can say “complicated custody arrangement”?

Claire is in an impossible position. Her grandmother Nikki is team Jack, her grandfather Victor is team “destroy everything Jack loves,” and she’s just trying to have a social life without accidentally reigniting a feud that predates the internet. The girl can’t even grab coffee without it becoming an international incident.

Drop a comment below and tell us: Should Nikki just leave Victor already, or is this feud forever?
