Sharon Questions Matt Clark’s Change Of Heart
Sharon Newman has spent more time around Matt Clark than almost anyone left in Genoa City, and Tuesday she looks at the man parked on Victor’s ranch and decides his sudden conversion to softhearted patient simply does not track. The questions she asks are sharper than anybody else has bothered to throw at him, and the cracks in his act could start showing before lunchtime.
Sharon Newman is uniquely qualified for this scene. She has read Matt at his worst, she has read men performing reform their whole lives, and her instincts on a con are some of the best in this town. While Patty Williams is busy insisting Matt is rehabilitated and Nick is hellbent on revenge, Sharon comes at it the only way that ever works on a real grifter, by treating the change of heart like the lie she is sure it is.
The way Matt Clark answers her sets the tone for the whole vendetta. If he holds his ground, Sharon may be the first person to suspect there is more than amnesia at play. If he slips, Genoa City has its answer and the Newmans get the green light to swing.

Victor Forces Nick To Face His Issues
Victor Newman struck a hard bargain with Nikki to keep Matt Clark on the ranch, and Tuesday he makes good on his end. The man who has spent decades softening every blow for his sons sits down across from Nick Newman and stops cushioning.
This is not the parents-united confrontation from last week. This is Victor alone, the father who would burn down a thousand empires to save his son, telling Nick the price of staying in the family vendetta is finally confronting the addiction that put him on a hospital floor. There is no Nikki to soften it, no Victoria to mediate, just a billionaire patriarch and the son who has been lying to him for months.
A Victor Newman who has stopped negotiating with his son is the version of him that built the empire. The conversation is brutal, it is loving, and it is the kind of corner only a father with Victor’s exact mix of force and devotion can put a man in.
Adam And Sally Discuss Her Pregnancy
Adam Newman and Sally Spectra sit down Tuesday for a conversation about her pregnancy. With Billy as the father and a wedding on the books for October, Sally has a full plate, and Adam has feelings of his own to sort through now that the news is out.
Whatever the two of them have to say to each other, it has been a long time coming since Billy decided to break the news himself.
