Victor Newman’s Anti-Abbott Horse, Beaten to Death on Y&R

Young & the Restless fans have spoken & Eric Braeden either needs to retire or the character of The Almighty Victor Newman needs to be refreshed with some freshened-up writing. Victor Newman hates Jack Abbott. Y&R fans get it. Soap opera fans get it so much that they are ready to revoke their loyalty towards this 45-year legacy character on CBS.

Victor’s Anti-Abbott Horse Has Been Beaten & Bloody

It’s a good thing for Young & the Restless fans that February with a short month as February sweeps has only provided opportunities for fans to fast-forward & do some sweeping of their own at home. Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) just got shot for the umpteenth time & recovered in record time. Victor’s first order of business… Bringing down Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) via Jabot using his attorney Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc). It’s old, Young & the Restless writers, it’s old. Victor Newman has had his fair of horses at the Newman Ranch over the years & his anti-Abbott horse has been beaten to death over & over again.

Y&R Fans Wonder Why Claire Cares

Claire Grace now Newman (Hayley Erin) spent her entire life growing up in her Aunt Jordan’s (Colleen Zenk) wing & was mandated to research & hate the Newman family. Even now that Claire is a Newman she’s acting like it’s her first day dealing with Victor. Victor Newman hating Jack Abbott is not brand new information. It’s old information. It’s 40+ years old information. 

Claire is a grown woman & despite Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) oftentimes being one of the most entitled & ignorant residents of Genoa City, they do seem to get along well together & are a way better fit than he & Summer Newman (Allison Lanier). In soap opera time, Claire & Kyle have been dating about 10 minutes. Victor Newman has no right to care let alone impose his grumpy negativity on Claire & Kyle. Claire & Kyle are adults & can do what they want in or out of bed with or without a pill.

Claire Missed Birth Control Day & Gets What She Wants

There has been zero evidence that Aunt Jordan went over birth control with Miss Claire & her mother Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) certainly has not. The only experience Kyle Abbott has had with birth control was not using it during his affair with Harrison’s (Redding Munsell) biological mother Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner). If Summer Newman were able to have children she would have had at least one by now with Kyle considering their ongoing on-again-off-again throughout the years.

Kyle Abbott is one of Genoa City’s most entitled & ignorant men. How many love sessions with Claire is he away from permanently keeping her in the Abbott circle by accident or on purpose?
