MICHAEL BALDWIN SURPRISES LAUREN FENMORE FOR THEIR ANNIVERSARY WHILE AUDRA CHARLES AND NOAH NEWMAN REUNITE ON YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS

TL;DR: Victor Newman is waging war on TWO fronts this week, going after Matt Clark and Jack Abbott, while Michael Baldwin pulls out all the stops for Lauren Fenmore’s anniversary on Young and the Restless.

The Week Ahead on Young and the Restless

Genoa City is a battlefield this week on Young and the Restless, and Victor Newman is taking NO prisoners. The Mustache is striking back against Matt Clark on Monday and then launching an all-out attack on Jack Abbott by Wednesday. Because apparently one enemy at a time is too boring for Victor.

But it’s not all corporate warfare and Newman scheming. Michael Baldwin is pulling out all the stops to surprise Lauren Fenmore for their wedding anniversary, and honestly, we could use some romance amid all this chaos. Plus, Audra Charles and Noah Newman have an unexpected reunion โ€” which is VERY interesting timing given that Claire just choked Audra out at Society last week!

Monday, December 8

Victor Newman strikes back against Matt Clark, and you know when Victor decides someone needs to be dealt with, he doesn’t hold back. Matt Clark has been lurking around Genoa City causing trouble, and Victor has clearly had enough. Meanwhile, Cane Ashby makes a new alliance โ€” and we need to know WHO he’s aligning with because this man just got back to town and he’s already making moves.

Phyllis Summers gives Adam Newman a warning. About what? Victor’s plans? Someone else’s schemes? Phyllis always has her finger on the pulse of Genoa City drama, so whatever she’s warning Adam about is definitely serious. These two have an interesting dynamic, and Phyllis looking out for Adam in any capacity is noteworthy.

Finally, some ROMANCE! Michael Baldwin pulls out all the stops to surprise Lauren Fenmore for their wedding anniversary, and this is the content we desperately need. Michael and Lauren are one of the most beloved couples in Y&R history, and watching Michael go all out for his wife is going to be absolutely heartwarming. After all the drama and scheming in Genoa City, a love story celebration is exactly what the doctor ordered.

Wednesday, December 10

Victor Newman launches his plan of attack against Jack Abbott. So he went after Matt Clark on Monday and now he’s coming for Jack on Wednesday? Victor is really out here fighting a two-front war like he has unlimited resources. Oh wait โ€” he DOES have unlimited resources. Jack better watch his back because when Victor Newman decides you’re his target, things get ugly fast.

Billy Abbott and Sally Spectra prep for their launch party. These two have been cooking up something together, and it’s finally coming to fruition. Whatever they’re launching, you know it’s going to ruffle some feathers โ€” especially if it competes with anything Newman or Abbott-related.

And here’s the tea: Noah Newman and Audra Charles have an unexpected reunion! This is SPICY timing considering Claire literally wrapped her hands around Audra’s throat at Society just last week after Audra slapped her. Audra and Noah have history, and seeing them reunite while Audra is still dealing with the Claire drama is going to be messy. We love messy.

Thursday, December 11

Sharon Newman questions Sienna about her intentions. Sharon has been through the wringer lately, and she’s clearly not taking any chances with people who might be sketchy. Whatever Sienna is up to, Sharon wants answers.

Audra Charles makes a deal with Holden โ€” wait, isn’t Holden the one who was holding Claire back when she attacked Audra? What kind of deal is Audra making with him? This woman is always working an angle, and we need to know what she’s scheming.

And in family drama news, Lily Winters has a change of heart about Cane Ashby. He just made a new alliance on Monday, and now Lily is softening toward him? These two have HISTORY, and whatever is happening between them is bound to affect the entire Winters family dynamic.

Friday, December 12

Phyllis Summers pushes Cane Ashby’s buttons. Phyllis warned Adam on Monday, and now she’s going after Cane on Friday? This woman is busy! Whatever Cane is up to, Phyllis clearly doesn’t approve, and she’s not afraid to let him know it.

Nate Hastings confides in Lily Winters โ€” about what? His career? His love life? The family business? Nate and Lily have always had a complicated relationship, and him confiding in her feels significant.

And closing out the week, Nick Newman takes matters into his own hands to protect Sharon. Between Sharon questioning Sienna on Thursday and Nick stepping up on Friday, something is clearly threatening Sharon’s safety or peace of mind. Nick has always been protective of Sharon, and whatever he’s doing to keep her safe is going to be intense.

Will Victor’s two-front war backfire? And what’s really going on with Audra? Drop your theories in the comments below!

WATCH THIS: Phyllis and Cane can’t seem to stay away from each other and they seem to be enjoying the game!
