Young and the Restless: Victoria Newman’s “Family Nuke” Targets Phyllis Summers Through Summer and Daniel
Victoria Newman pitches a ruthless plan to recruit Summer and Daniel against Phyllis Summers on Y&R. Nick pushes back, but Victoria may act alone. Full spoilers inside.

VICTORIA NEWMAN THREATENS TO WEAPONIZE SUMMER AND DANIEL TO DESTROY PHYLLIS SUMMERS
TL;DR: The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Victoria Newman pitched a ruthless plan to Nick Newman at the ranch — recruit Summer Newman to turn against Phyllis Summers, cut off grandchild access, and force Phyllis to surrender Newman Enterprises. Nick refused, but Victoria signaled she may act alone.
Victoria Newman Just Declared All-Out War on Phyllis Summers — and She’s Using Her Own Kids to Do It
Forget boardroom battles. Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) just escalated this war to a place most people wouldn’t dare go. At the Newman ranch, she laid out a plan to her brother Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) that had nothing to do with stock options or legal filings. She wants to fly to Milan, get in Summer Newman‘s ear, and turn Phyllis’s own daughter into a weapon against her.
Let that sink in.
Victoria didn’t stop there. She floated cutting off Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) from Harrison entirely — using Summer‘s adoptive mother status to keep a grandmother away from her grandchild. When Nick pushed back hard? Victoria told him she might just do it without him.
Cold. Calculated. A page ripped straight out of Victor Newman‘s (Eric Braeden) playbook. Hit what the enemy loves. Turn the people closest to Phyllis into allies, even if it burns every bridge in the process.

Nick Newman Drew a Line — But Will It Hold?
Here’s what makes this so gut-wrenching. Nick is furious at Phyllis too. She and Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) stole Newman Enterprises right out from under his family. But Nick told Victoria point blank that he refuses to treat Summer like a chess piece. He won’t poison his daughter’s relationship with her mother just to win back a company.
But let’s be real — Nick isn’t exactly operating from moral high ground. The man is hiding a fentanyl dependency, nursing a broken leg from his crash with Matt Clark (Roger Howarth), and keeping secrets that would shock the whole family. How long before Victoria uses THAT against him too?
The “Total Exile” Is Already Taking Shape
And here’s where it gets even worse for Phyllis. Spoilers for next week tease that Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) cuts ties with his mother on Tuesday, February 24. That’s Phyllis‘s son walking away from her. If Victoria gets Summer on board too, Phyllis could be staring down a complete family exile — no Summer, no Daniel, no Harrison, no Lucy.
The next week preview already showed Phyllis storming into the coffeehouse and confronting Daniel, telling him she will never forgive him for what he’s done. That confrontation feels like the first domino falling in Victoria‘s savage endgame.
What’s Next for Victoria Newman and Phyllis Summers?
Could this mean Victoria moves forward without Nick entirely? Don’t be surprised if she frames the whole operation as “protecting the family” and leaves Nick to either comply or take the fall. Given her track record this month — threatening Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) with kid-related consequences, shipping Johnny and Katie off to boarding school — she is not bluffing.
But Phyllis is not the kind of woman who lies down and takes it. If she finds out Victoria is weaponizing her own children, don’t be shocked if Phyllis fires back by exposing Nick‘s fentanyl secret and painting the Newmans as the real monsters. That would flip Summer‘s sympathy right back to her mother and blow Victoria‘s plan apart.
One thing is clear — this is no longer about a company. This is weaponized motherhood, grandparent access as a bargaining chip, and the kind of family fracture that doesn’t heal. Victoria Newman just bet everything that Phyllis loves her children more than she loves power. And if she’s wrong? Genoa City will never be the same.
