JORDAN ASHFORD KNOWS THE ONE SECRET THAT CAN BREAK SONNY

TL;DR: Jordan Ashford knows Sonny and Justine are secretly together, and she now blames Sonny for the Pentonville beating that hurt Curtis. One word from her could end Justine’s DA run and break Sonny’s heart.

Jordan Already Blames Sonny for Curtis

In these General Hospital spoilers, Jordan Ashford holds the one secret that could bring Sonny Corinthos to his knees. She knows Sonny is secretly seeing Justine Turner, the ADA working the Pentonville case. And as of Wednesday, Jordan believes Sonny is the reason her man ended up beaten in a prison cell.

That fury has already aired. On September 30, Curtis Ashford told Jordan that Jenz Sidwell was the target and he got hurt stepping in. The ringleader’s parting line in that brutal Pentonville attack was “Sonny Corinthos owes you this. And more.” Now Jordan is furious at Sonny and scared he’ll try to silence Curtis.

She Caught Them Kissing on September 22

Rewind to the Brown Dog. Justine told Jordan she plans to run for DA now that the seat is opening up, and Jordan promised to back her, even to help with the kick-off rally despite her scars. Jordan warned her that opponents would dig for dirt. “They won’t find anything,” Justine said. Minutes later, Jordan walked into the parking lot and caught her kissing Sonny.

Two days later, at the Metro Court gardens, Jordan let her have it: “What the hell were you thinking?” Justine admitted real feelings for Sonny and called the talk a wake-up call. Then she told Sonny that Jordan knew, and on September 25 they agreed to keep seeing each other anyway. As we said then, that romance puts her whole campaign at risk.

Should Jordan keep Justine’s secret, or are all bets off now that Curtis got hurt? Write to the editor at amber@soapoperamagazine.com and tell us what you think.

Will Jordan Expose Sonny and Justine on General Hospital?

No spoiler says so yet, and that’s what makes this so juicy. So far Jordan has played protector, not prosecutor. She told Justine she cares about her, and that if she keeps seeing Sonny, she needs to be much smarter about it. Nobody has Jordan picking up the phone to the DA’s office.

But look at what Jordan Ashford is holding. An ADA secretly dating the prime suspect in her own case has a conflict of interest, and a former police commissioner knows it. One call could knock Justine off the case and blow up her campaign before it starts. It would also hit Sonny where no cop ever could.

Why Justine Is the Perfect Pressure Point

Here’s the angle nobody is talking about. In Jordan’s eyes, both halves of that secret romance have already hurt Curtis. Justine brought the felony assault charges over Isaiah’s hand back in May, and in August Curtis was found guilty and sentenced to ten years. Without that sentence, he’s never in a cell next to Sidwell.

Jordan swallowed that first blow and stayed Justine’s friend. What she doesn’t know is that on September 29, Justine told Dante that Curtis “could have heard what he expected to hear.” My gut tells me that if that line ever reaches Jordan, the friendship is finished, and the secret is fair game.

The Twist: Sonny Didn’t Do It

Now for the cruel part. Viewers know Sonny never ordered the attack. On Wednesday, Ava Jerome and Drew Cain were revealed as the ones who framed him by paying off his man Vito. If Jordan strikes through Justine, she wrecks a friend’s career and Sonny’s heart over a crime he didn’t commit.

And Sonny is already bleeding. On Thursday, Dante Falconeri refused to believe his denial, and Sonny threw him out: “I don’t want a son like you.” It’s all in our Thursday recap. On Friday, Sonny is crushed, and spoiler chatter says Justine is the one who walks. The same chatter asks whether Jordan feeds her some information first.

Jordan Heads to Germany as Curtis Finds a New Ally

Timing is the wrinkle. On Friday, Jordan Ashford gets life-changing news during a medical visit in Germany about her scars. Whatever she decides about Justine, she may be deciding it from an ocean away.

Curtis isn’t waiting for her. On Thursday he struck a deal with Willow Cain: get him a full pardon from the governor, and he’ll help her bring down Sonny. We broke down that dangerous pardon deal on Thursday, and the rest of the fallout is in our two weeks of spoilers.

Here’s my read. If Jordan Ashford wants Sonny to hurt, she doesn’t need Willow, a pardon or a warrant. She needs one sentence to Justine: him or the DA’s office. If I know these writers, that choice is coming, and Sonny won’t like the answer.

Jordan Holds the Match, and Justine Is Standing in the Gasoline

Jordan has every reason to hate Sonny right now, and the one weapon that would hurt him most is a friend she promised to help elect. That is a classic soap trap, and nobody walks out of it clean.

We’re betting Jordan doesn’t expose Justine in public. She’ll make her choose instead, and that might be crueler. Tell us whether Jordan should talk over on our Facebook page.
