TL;DR: Matt Clark will resurface in Genoa City on The Young and the Restless spoilers for the week of May 4, and the Newman family is not ready for it. Cane Ashby will be slapped in handcuffs in front of a sobbing Lily Winters, Patty Williams will crash Victor Newman and Diane Jenkins at the GCAC, and Phyllis Summers will spend the entire week in the crosshairs of Christine Blair, Lauren Fenmore, and her own son. Buckle up.

This Week in Genoa City

Matt Clark is alive. The man we watched Sienna Bacall swear was definitely dead is going to walk back into Genoa City on Thursday and Genoa City is not ready. Meanwhile, Cane Ashby will be cuffed by Christine Blair in front of Lily Winters, Patty Williams will stroll into the GCAC and greet Victor Newman and Diane Jenkins like a woman who belongs there, and Phyllis Summers will spend five days dodging incoming fire from every direction. Nikki Newman is going to confront Lily about her deal with Victor, Billy Abbott is going to bargain with Victoria Newman, and Jack Abbott will finally set boundaries with Patty Williams that she will absolutely not respect.

Monday, May 4

Victor Newman will offer no apology to Diane Jenkins for the yacht situation, because the Mustache does not apologize for things he believes worked out exactly the way he wanted them to. Nikki Newman will confront Lily Winters about whatever deal Lily has cut with Victor, and Lily is not going to enjoy that conversation. Billy Abbott will bargain with Victoria Newman, which given that Victoria just handed evidence to Christine that could put Billy in prison, should be the most awkward negotiation of the year. And Jack Abbott will sit Patty Williams down and try to set boundaries with a woman who has never respected one in her entire life.

Tuesday, May 5

Victor Newman and Nikki Newman will reject an opportunity to reconcile, which is going to land harder than either of them is letting on. Christine Blair will back Phyllis Summers into a corner, and Cricket has been waiting decades to do exactly that. Sharon Newman will interrogate Sienna Bacall about her past, and Sienna does not have the kind of answers Sharon is looking for.

Wednesday, May 6

Michael Baldwin and Phyllis Summers will attempt damage control, which after Phyllis walked out on him at the GCAC is going to require Michael to do significant groveling. Lily Winters’ attempts to help Malcolm Winters will be thwarted, and the wall she runs into is going to come from a direction she did not see coming. Claire Newman will make a bold move to support Holden Novak, and the Newman heiress doing anything bold for the Winters family is the kind of plot beat that has consequences.

Thursday, May 7

Phyllis Summers will be troubled by Nick Newman‘s behavior, because the woman misses nothing and Nick has been hiding more than just the fentanyl. Matt Clark will resurface in Genoa City, and the moment is going to land like a bomb. The man Sienna swore she killed will walk back into the most predictable address in town with a bandage on his forehead and a score to settle. And Cane Ashby will make a promise to Lily Winters that he is going to need every ounce of his strength to keep.

Friday, May 8

Nick Newman will reveal a secret to Victoria Newman, and given everything Nick has just admitted to Victor, that secret is going to have weight. Chelsea Lawson will question Adam Newman about Riza, and Adam is not going to enjoy that conversation. And Lauren Fenmore will give Phyllis Summers a warning that lands harder than anything Michael has tried to say all week.

Matt Clark goes from a desert diner to the GCAC. Cane Ashby goes from a hospital hug to a holding cell. Phyllis Summers spends five days getting cornered from every direction. And Patty Williams keeps walking into rooms she should not be in. Genoa City is not having a quiet week.
