VICTOR NEWMAN HAS A PLAN FOR EVERYBODY THIS WEEK

TL;DR: Victor Newman will fire a warning shot on Tuesday, make good on a promise on Wednesday, and offer Phyllis Summers a deal she cannot refuse by Friday on The Young and the Restless. Meanwhile, Diane Jenkins will walk in on Jack Abbott and Nikki Newman in a compromising position, Michael Baldwin will drop the bomb that Summer’s Conglomerate is going down, Cane Ashby will make a bold move to help Lily Winters, and Sharon Newman and Noah Newman will be ambushed in Vegas on Friday.

This Week in Genoa City

Victor Newman is not sitting behind that desk at Newman Enterprises twiddling his thumbs this week. He is making moves. On Tuesday he will give his enemies a warning shot, and knowing Victor, that warning will not come with a second chance. By Wednesday he will make good on a promise, which means somebody in Genoa City agreed to something with Victor and is about to find out exactly what that costs. And by Friday, Victor will sit across from Phyllis Summers and make her a deal she cannot refuse, and the fact that Phyllis Summers is even at the table with Victor Newman tells you how desperate the situation has become.

But the Wednesday bombshell that has soap fans circling the date is this: Diane Jenkins will find Jack Abbott and Nikki Newman in a compromising position. Jack and Nikki. Together. Compromised. And Diane walks in on it. There are not enough throw pillows in the Abbott mansion to cushion that landing.

Monday, April 20

Lily Winters will ask Devon Hamilton and Nate Hastings to see Holden Novak in a new light, and given that Holden just found out Malcolm is his biological father, Lily asking Devon and Nate to open their arms is a tall order for two men who have had their own complicated feelings about the Winters family tree. Billy Abbott and Sally Spectra will process their new normal, and after last week’s pregnancy reveal, “new normal” is doing a lot of heavy lifting. And Stephanie Simmons will connect with an old friend, and from the What’s Next video, that old friend turns out to be Nate Hastings, whose mother Olivia is someone Stephanie clearly knows well.

Tuesday, April 21

Victor Newman will give his enemies a warning shot, and the plural on “enemies” means multiple people in Genoa City are about to have a very bad day. Danny Romalotti will help Christine Blair with a tough decision, and from the What’s Next video Christine has a surprise of her own that she calls “kind of a big” one. Michael Baldwin will share a secret with Lauren Fenmore, and that secret is a bomb: Summer’s Conglomerate is going down. And Abby Newman and Devon will struggle to get on the same page, because when has that ever been easy for those two?

Wednesday, April 22

Victor Newman will make good on a promise. Diane Jenkins will find Jack and Nikki in a compromising position, and that sentence alone is enough to power an entire episode. Whatever Diane sees when she walks into that room, the Abbott marriage is about to be tested in a way that has nothing to do with Victor for once. And Victoria Newman will dig for dirt on Phyllis, which means the Newman daughter is going on offense, and Phyllis Summers in Victoria’s crosshairs is never a fair fight for either of them.

Thursday, April 23

Nick Newman will travel down a dangerous path, and given that he was last seen in a Las Vegas storage room under Matt Clark’s control, “dangerous” is an understatement. Cane Ashby will make a bold move to help Lily, and with Malcolm’s bone marrow search growing more desperate by the day, whatever Cane does this week could change the entire Winters family dynamic. And Holden will lean on Claire Newman, and those two finding comfort in each other continues to be one of the most unexpected connections in Genoa City right now.

Friday, April 24

Victor Newman will make Phyllis Summers a deal she cannot refuse. Whatever Victor has been building toward all week, Phyllis is the final piece, and Phyllis accepting a deal from Victor Newman is the kind of alliance that rewrites the rules in Genoa City. Adam Newman will push Riza to come clean, and Adam digging for the truth in Vegas means he is not buying Matt Clark’s story that Nick is dead. And Sharon Newman and Noah Newman will be ambushed in Vegas. Sharon hit the road to find Nick. She brought Noah. And from the What’s Next video, they find an abandoned location and decide to go in. They do not come out clean.

Diane Jenkins walks in on Jack Abbott and Nikki Newman in a compromising position on Wednesday. Do you think this is the beginning of the end for Jack and Diane? And is Sharon safe in Vegas? Sound off below!
