Victoria Newman Is Sending Her Children Away and Calling It a Preventative Measure

Nate Hastings finds Victoria Newman at the café in Chancellor Park, furiously texting. She’s out of work, sending emails, and preparing what she calls a full-scale attack on Billy Abbott and Phyllis Summers.

Victoria tells Nate she won’t try to sway Katie and Johnny against their father. His actions will speak loud enough. But she IS shipping them to boarding school immediately. She wants them out of Genoa City before the war begins.

Nate looks her in the eye and asks the question every The Young and the Restless fan is going to be screaming: is this about protecting the kids, or is it about punishing Billy?

Victoria calls it a preventative measure. She admits the kids are worried and not excited about leaving. But this is for their own good. Nate apologizes if he overstepped, and Victoria pauses. She admits what he said makes sense. She admits she may not be thinking clearly.

That admission is the most honest thing Victoria Newman has said in weeks. And she’s going to ignore it completely.

She tells Nate that Victor is trying to force Cane Ashby back into the Newman fold, but she’s planning her own offensive. Her target is Phyllis.

Billy Gloats in His New Office While His Brother Begs Him to Wake Up

Billy walks into the head office at Chancellor and declares he’s back where he belongs. Jack shows up with a warning instead of a congratulations. He asks Billy what this dream is going to cost him. Has he lost Sally? Is Chancellor worth it?

Billy admits he lied to himself about wanting a new leaf. Jack warns that chasing obsessions leads nowhere good. Billy fires back, asking if Jack is concerned or angry that he’s the Abbott who bested Victor Newman.

Nikki Newman interrupts. She wanted a moment alone in her office. Billy tells her he doesn’t regret what happened to Victor but is sorry for her. Nikki tells him to enjoy it while it lasts.

Once Billy leaves, Nikki drops the diplomacy. She tells Jack that Billy will fail, even if she has to take him down herself. She gives Jack a message for his brother: the Newmans will get everything back.

Sally Spectra Renames the Company and Walks Out on Billy Forever

At Society, Audra Charles is stunned to learn she’s been named co-CEO. Sally has already cleared it with Jill. Newman Media is being integrated into Abbott Communications. Billy handed it over to pacify Sally.

But Sally is done being pacified. She moved out this morning. She wanted to believe Billy wanted her more than the company. He didn’t. She got tired of fighting.

Sally and Audra toast to being single boss ladies and rename the company Spectra-Charles Media. On their way out, they run into Billy. Sally tells him he made a huge mistake. He says it was her decision to leave. She corrects him: she chose him, he chose Chancellor.

Outside, they bump into Jack, who tells them he’s sorry. Then Jack gets a phone call about the kids. His face changes. He goes inside and tells Billy that Victoria has gone too far.

Nick Newman Stands in an Alley With Fentanyl and No Refills

At Crimson Lights, Sharon catches Nick pocketing pills and demands to know what they are. He claims he’s checking on his pain meds and has run out. She urges him not to stress.

Noah arrives, back from seeing Sienna Bacall, and asks her to come home to Genoa City with him. Sharon is thrilled. But the focus quickly shifts to Nick, who is grunting, twitching, and declaring Phyllis will be sorry she ever crossed the Newmans. Noah tells his dad he should get checked out again. Nick brushes it off, hugs his son, and leaves.

After he’s gone, Sharon and Noah worry about the pain he’s in. Sharon wonders if there’s something Nick doesn’t want them to know.

And there is. Nick goes to an alley alone. He resists the bag of fentanyl. But he checks his prescription and discovers he has no more refills.

No more legitimate pain medication. Matt Clark’s fentanyl in his pocket. And nobody watching.

Victoria is disappearing her kids, Sally renamed her future, and Nick is out of options. Sound off and share this with every Y&R fan before the US episode airs!
