TL;DR: Billy Abbott tells Cane Ashby and Lily Winters he’s giving up Chancellor Industries for good, but he never mentions it’s only until the baby arrives. Meanwhile, Phyllis Summers sets new rules for Matt Clark at the Riverbank Motel, and Sally Spectra opens up to Audra Charles at Crimson Lights.

Billy Abbott Waves the White Flag (With His Fingers Crossed)
At Society, Sally Spectra tells Billy Abbott she’s fine, the doctor cleared her, and the scare wasn’t serious. She still calls it a wake-up call and admits the Chancellor stress isn’t helping her ligaments or her nerves.
Billy swears he’d do anything for his kids and produces proof: a stuffed animal he keeps in his car just to remember what matters. Sally begs him to give up the fight for all of their sakes, and he offers to shelve it until after the baby arrives. It’s a compromise, not a surrender, and she knows it.
Across town at her penthouse, Cane Ashby is stunned that Lily Winters let Billy make his Chancellor case without even running it by her own CEO. She reminds him her lawyers think Billy could actually win this one, and dragging it out in court helps nobody.
Lily has doubts the Katherine loan story is as clean as it looks. Something else is going on, and she and Cane agree it’s smarter to let it surface on Billy’s watch than their own. Rather than fight him, they decide to let him hold the bag and see what cracks open.
Billy barges into that very penthouse to announce he’s giving up Chancellor completely. He does not mention it’s only temporary, and Cane and Lily have no idea they just won a war Billy hasn’t actually stopped fighting. He heads back to Crimson Lights and promises Sally and Audra Charles that his family comes first now, conveniently leaving out the part where “now” has an expiration date tied to a due date.

Sally Spectra Opens Up to Audra Charles
Back at Crimson Lights before Billy Abbott’s big announcement, Audra joins Sally for scones once Billy steps away. Sally admits today’s scare stirred up a lot, and she suspects it’s doing the same to Audra given everything with Noah.
Audra confesses watching an ex move on makes her feel like the common denominator in her own bad luck. Sally insists that’s nonsense and reveals Billy Abbott has agreed to drop Chancellor, leaving Audra impressed by a truce that has an expiration date nobody told her about.
Phyllis Summers Sets New Rules for Matt Clark
At Society, Michael Baldwin meets Lauren Fenmore, who fills him in on Phyllis Summers losing her mind over Matt Clark. Lauren can’t decide if Phyllis found love or relapsed into her own worst instincts, and Michael wonders if she’s secretly trying to fix Matt the way she once wished someone had fixed her.
Across town at the Riverbank Motel, Phyllis finds Matt hiding out and unravels the crumpled letter he tried to leave behind. He admits he visited Patty Williams and that her verdict on his soul was brutal, and Phyllis refuses to let a woman she calls a monster define who he is now.
She lays down her own rules: no more disappearing acts, no more goodbyes delivered on paper, and if he’s in pain he calls her, not a criminally insane ex-therapist. He tears the letter up on the spot, tells her she makes the world feel safe again, and the two fall into bed convinced they can outrun both of their pasts together.

Billy Abbott hands Chancellor back to Cane and Lily with a smile, Phyllis hands Matt Clark a rulebook instead of an exit, and not one of these Genoa City power plays is as finished as it looks. This entire stretch of Young and the Restless spoilers is basically a minefield dressed up as a truce.
