HAYLEY LAWSON SAYS YES BECAUSE BILL’S HUNT FOR PROOF IS HER BAIT

TL;DR: Bill Hamilton makes demands of a pregnant Hayley Lawson on Monday, November 2, and she is happy to meet them. Why so easy? Her plan needs Bill at her doctor’s appointment, and his hunt for proof takes him right there.

Monday’s Demands Meet an Easy Yes

The Beyond the Gates spoilers for Monday, November 2, put Bill Hamilton in charge, or so he thinks. Bill makes demands of a pregnant Hayley Lawson, and she is happy to meet them. His daughters, Naomi Hamilton Hawthorne and Chelsea Hamilton, are anxious. Nobody has said what Bill is asking for.

Here is what should worry them. A con artist who agrees this fast is not giving anything up. Line up the two plans Bill and Hayley hatched last week and her easy yes makes perfect sense, because Bill’s hunt for proof walks him straight to the one place she wants him: her doctor’s appointment.

Bill Asked for Proof and Got an Invitation

On October 29, Hayley went to Bill’s office and told him he is going to be a daddy again. His answer was pure Bill: “Fool me once, shame on me. Fool me twice? Shame on me!” He allowed that she might be pregnant but doubted the child is his, and she left her appointment card on his desk anyway.

On October 30, Bill asked for a paternity test. Hayley stalled, fretting that a test could hurt the baby, and pushed him to come to her OB-GYN appointment instead. He agreed. Bill suspects she is dodging the test because it would prove he is not the father.

That is exactly what she wants him to think. Hayley told her cousin, Randy Parker, that her play is letting Bill think, even hope, that he is not the father. The same day, Bill told his ex-wife, Dani Dupree, that he wants nothing to do with the child.

Two Plans, One Checkbook

Put the plans side by side and the yes explains itself. Bill’s plan, as it stood October 30, is to pay Hayley to take the child and leave. Hayley’s own plan, laid out to Randy on October 26, runs the other direction: hand Bill full custody for “a crapton of cash.” She has said she does not even want children.

Both plans end with Bill writing a check. Only one ends with him holding the baby. Hayley Lawson is betting the appointment decides which, and that once Bill hears a heartbeat, the man who wants nothing to do with this child starts thinking like a father. Every demand that drags him closer to that exam room is a gift to her.

We first sized up her money game when Hayley’s baby bombshell blindsided Bill. The price has only climbed since. She bragged that her payout would make the $10 million policy look like pocket change.

Why Is Hayley So Willing to Meet Bill’s Demands on Beyond the Gates?

Because the proof Bill wants runs through her doctor’s office, and that is where Hayley Lawson plans to win. The week’s promo has Bill telling Dr. Ted Richardson he will be right by Hayley’s side for the ultrasound. Hayley, for her part, promises that by the time he leaves, he will know for sure they are going to be a family. No air day has been given for that scene.

Here is the piece everyone else is skipping. Nobody has named Monday’s demands, but the only things Bill has asked for on screen are a paternity test and a seat at her appointment. Hayley already turned the first into the second. If Monday’s demands are about proof, she wrote the answer before he asked the question.

Naomi and Chelsea Are Right to Worry

The daughters have reason to sweat. On October 30, Chelsea wondered whether Bill could forgive Hayley for the sake of a child, and what kind of relationship she should have with the baby. Naomi meant to put Hayley on blast and ended up talking through her feelings instead. Neither one has had it out with Bill yet.

Delusions of Grandeur by Thursday

The later lines turn up the heat. On Thursday, November 5, Bill makes an emotional admission to Naomi, and Hayley has delusions of grandeur. On Friday, Naomi and Hayley trade barbs, and Bill’s assistant, Caroline Lee, puts her foot down with him.

Reading between the lines, delusions of grandeur do not come from a woman who is losing. My gut tells me Hayley Lawson walks out of that appointment sure Bill is hooked, and maybe sure she can win back more than a check. Could his admission to Naomi be the crack she was waiting for? If I know these writers, her plan works right up until the moment it doesn’t.

Is Hayley playing Bill, or is Bill playing Hayley? Make your case in the comments.

There is plenty more where this came from, so see everything coming up on Beyond the Gates.

Bill Is Walking Into the Room Hayley Picked

Bill thinks making demands puts him in control. Hayley has run this game longer, and she let him agree to the one room she chose. Proof is the right instinct. Proof on her schedule, in her doctor’s office, is a trap with a stethoscope.

Team Proof says Bill is finally being smart. Team Trap says he lost the minute he agreed to that appointment. Pick a side and bring it to our Facebook page.
